I remember the 113, and have been one of the best performers in it on NA before. It's pretty well a meaty medium. Quite enjoyable, especially with its 7.28 second reload for 440

113 Still often used in tournaments. I wouldn't say it's been erased...

QB mentioned the Type 59. Been playing world of tanks for over 11 years and still having nightmares about the Type 59 when it first came into the game. It was such an OP monster. It was more feared than the 279e or chieftain is today. Rock on tankers and Sir QB

It was a combination of there being a LOT less premium tier 8’s for credit grinding and thus tons of people played the type59 to do that and what makes it worse is that tons of people platooned up in the type 59 to do that. You just end up constantly running into type 59 platoons credit grinding.

The 121 has quickly become one of my most consistent performers. Its very satisfying to play and most people really underestimate its firepower in a brawl since its not all that common. Running bond stabs, bond rammer and a boosted turbo makes it an absolute beast. Its only downside is the longish aim time and lack of gun depression, but when its in a brawl that hardly matters as you get to slam 440 alpha bombs through people.

121 is a perfect tank when it's in right hands. Maybe gun depression is a lil problem but tank is pure beast! Playing it almost everyday.

@@Immortal_BP Ok, we're talking about pubs lol. Of course its not going to perform very well in a mode where the meta is dominated by flexible heavy tanks with the occasional CS63. Its the very definition of a niche tank and that makes it pretty enjoyable IMO

My best game happens to be in my 121, I love the raw power you can dash out. Not the mention solid armor

Could you maybe play 3-5 tanks with their historically accurate builds just for some variety? Tiger, any one of the Shermans, t34 hellcat, panther, etc

I remember the historical battles mode that lasted a short period. Could only pick set tanks, limited premium ammo and set numbers of each vehicle. I thought it was fun but nobody really played it.

Dude, I play my 121 literally everytime I launch this game ahah !

I miss the times when there was not so much prototype. Where the T34, the Lowe, the IS3... were the kings in tier 8 and the E100, the IS7, the Bat Chat and the 50B the owners of tier 10. I miss that gold is not the main ammunition in the play. Before, people knew how to play, and few of us were left who used non-premium ammunition... Times in which you had to sweat blood to reach tier 10 and now they are given to you with blueprints... Times in which raising the crew was a matter of effort and you noticed the improvement on the battlefield and now it is rare who has less than 4 skills... In short, a game that prides itself on being about tanks, but the tanks that are played the most are prototypes that some were never even built. And of course those tanks weren't dropping gold, believe me. (10 yeras in WoT)

Quite a coincidence - I recently took my 121 for a couple of spins and I was pleasantly surprised by the outcome ;)

The 121 is my first and only tier X tank, I love it! Im a horrible player but its the only tank I've ever been able to get a master class in

I can recall my first 1v1 with a 121 in my E 50M. Sand river, northeast mountain pass. It was just us two and I was not able to get the best ram in, after that his dpm surprised me and ruined my game. Always respected this one after that day.

WZ-120 after the buff was one of my favorite tier 9 mediums. Having that 440 alpha and 340mm of HEAT penetration at tier 9 was so spicy.

the only problem with the tank is the -3 gun depression. the cupolas are a problem too

121 was my first tier X when I switched over from console and fell in love with it and made the verdict that this is the most balanced tank that has features that is overlooked and ultimately power creeped by newer tanks.

I started grinding for this awhile ago, and finally got back to it over holiday ops T8-T9 (about to get this) The T-8-T9 grind for equipment was very painful. Great tanks when fully upgraded though.

I like how all those shots hit the middle of the reticle. Meanwhile I missed a 60TP 10 meters away today. I can't believe how bad rng I have sometimes. 😔

This is why I don't really listen to streamers like QB. As much as I respect them and enjoy their videos, they forget that most players aren't running a 6 skill crew, bounty equipment, food and directives. That and the fact that we've not all played over 100k games and 12 years experience playing the game.

I don't disagree that having a functioning brain is half the battle. Although maybe not so much these days given all the OP premiums. Maybe I'm just bitter after trying to grind tech trees and getting constantly nuked by the BZ-176 while it just laughs at me when I shoot it with premium ammo. Haven't played in about 6 months. Is it still just as broken ?

Even before the buffs I've enjoyed it very much. Chinese light tanks as well, particularly the infamous 59-16 with the autoloader. It was such a fun tank to play with. Too bad they removed it in order to add a whole glut of overpowered autoloaders along the way.

Also, with the arrival of the 121B in the bond shop, many people switched to playing that one. Smaller gun but better handling and pen 👍

Just played with 121. 3060 dmg in first 2 minutes. Awesome tank.

I think WZ 120 is one of the most underrated tanks. To be honest the whole tech tree going from t7 is amazing. I got top 100 scores in eu server for t34-2 I think while having a 48%overall win ratio on my acc

Love everything about this tank except for that horrible gun depression. Everything else is quite solid for a medium. It isn't even that it can't play hull down well, it is the trying to take a shot that looks relatively flat yet if you move just a bit and miss the shot by half a degree because you moved onto a rock that raised your tank just a tiny bit. Most have enough depression where you do stuff like that and your gun will still stay locked on.

This was my favorite medium tank in the game when I played. I enjoyed so much stomping on overconfident 140's and 62A's...

I haven't forgot this tank. I love it. Though it would be nice if the PC version of the 121 had the gimmick of it's blitz mobile counterpart, which is crazy good aim time. From pineapple at 60 kmph to pinpoint at stop in under a second

I remember going the 113 line first to unlock the guns for the wz120 before completing the 121 grind.

I love my 121, and is one of my most played tanks. Love to see that it is getting some loving attention again by others.

The problem with the 121 isn’t the object 140 imo, it’s the 121b. After they buffed the armour on the 121b it just became absolutely absurd. Not to mention better premium pen, and fast flying apcr standard with much better accuracy

I still play my 121: I am still working on getting my first MoE.

Hey quicky. I don't know if you read and answer the comments on a daily basis. But first of all, Awesome vid, as always ! Been learning a lot from you, even recently ! Started from where I left the game 3 years ago ! (From tier 6 at most !) Got my first three tier 10 ! First was Leo1, nothing to say about it. Number 1 in my heart ! Then arrived the Bat Chat' 25T (as a French, this is one of my most favorites tanks out there, and even if it's not the best, I f-ing love it !) Finaly, the E50M (meh?). Somehow I like it, because RAMMING you know. OMW for the OBJ 705A, the FV4005 and later on I'll, slowly but surely, grind toward the VZ or the Krangvan (smthng like this) long story short, i love this game ! and you're part of it, so thanks for what you bring to the community ! ps : why does my Leo1, with 0.21 accuracy, insane aim time and shit misses all his shots ? while my bat chat fire on the moove like god among men? need an explanation WG Cheers from France !

Got the 121B and it's my most consistent tank for real!

This is my FAVORITE tank, its the perfect combo of the 140 and the 430u

The 121 saw a resurgence when the 121B became available in the Bond Shop.

Its my only tier 10 med atm and I do enjoy playing it for the most part. I really wish it had just 1 degree more gun depression and it would feel even better .

I felt so bad when the Obj 780 got ammoracked… Poor Obj 780… Its feels bad if a friendly gets ammoracked but damn it felt good to ammorack a full HP Löwe last week with my Iron Arnie!

I play a 121 with my 7 skills T-59 crew - it's awesome.

6:40 That's one of unbelievable situations I never get in my battles. If I was in 121, I'd be crushed by a normal opponent in E-50. But this guy just wanted to stay on the open and give to QB all of his HP. WTF!? Skill calls them tourists. I call them bots. And I see them only in CC videos, but never in my battles.

This is my 1st Tier 10 tank armor is crap back then, raced for laughs with my clan mate's tech tree FV4202 on sand river, goes towards northern hill to see whos faster, all is good before reaching foot of hill, and from there never saw the FV again lol

121 is my comfy tank for pub. It does well everywhere other than in hill fight (although playing chinese lines should already trained you in utilizing low gundep), and the combination just oddly works. My only problem with it (alongside with other meds) is how weak the medium tank field mods are, especially this type of 'versatile medium tanks'. I'm not saying that they are completely useless, but unlike other classes where field mods could transform their gameplay, for meds they are just small bonuses here and there. Especially that last suspension field mod, 30% suspension HP (meds never relies on high suspension HP anyway?) vs repair speed and traverse speed. Eugh

You know you have a problem when you recognize the tank solely from the thumbnail and track profiles of that 3D skin LOL. The freakin Icebreaker

QB, any chance of playing or showing more T4 and T5 games? As someone getting back into WoT, I don't want to dive straight back into my T7s and 8s, and it feels like there's a lot of get used to again :'D

I quit the line at tier 9 and went for the 430U instead and I love it. But again it was before the buff so maybe i will go finish it now.

Personally I treat this like a fast heavy so I set my crew up with increased track/turret traverse and terrain resistances

I member the 121 :( I went for it pretty hard when the Chinese tanks came out. This was before the 120 and 121 were made irrelevant by the 430u. I believe they were both the first mediums with 440 alpha

430u’s gun is garbage though, so it only made the 121 irrelevant when it came to armour.

I'm playing the T-34-2 and i think i will stop at WZ-120 since i bought 121B. Challenging tech-tree but satisfied when you can figure out how to play them.

The grind to get to this tank is SO bad. Especially tier 9.... 181 pen at the start...

The problem is if u get the 5a and the 121b why would u ever want the 121?

The problem with this tank and the 430U is they both feel like bad versions of their HT counterparts (WZ-111 5A and Obj 277). They don't have the mobility advantage that you'd expect a MT to have, and they have less alpha, armour and overall presence. Whenever I play the 430U I wish I was in the 277.

What about try the T32 i have never seen you play with it

To be honest I prefer regular 121. Gun on 121b for some strange reason doesn't work for me, so many misses and bounces I stopped playing this tank except for daily bonus training purposes. On the other hand dpm on 121 is insane, you will eat everyone alive who is cocky enough to underestimate this gem of a tank. If I could turn back time I would never waste my bonds on 121b.

I choose Chinese medium coz I have 3D style of 121 another reason tier7 Chinese T34 1 I am really enjoying when I play

T-34-3 is a really good prem for this crew. I think you can still get it? IDK.
