If you have an HSA, using the new card to pay for medical expenses and then reimbursing yourself is a good strategy.

I buy gold and silver. It helps with the premium dealing with buying that stuff.

Last time I bought a car I was able to put $2000 on a credit card. I’d also try to prepay any utilities or monthly bills that take a credit card without a fee.

As a new dad the best way I've found in daycare. Almost a grand every month. Set it and (almost) forget it. I bought 1 airline ticket and there rest will be daycare to meet the spend on my Hyatt card.

I have excellent credit with 2 cc on my name (Costco citi and CapOne quicksilver). I’m an occasional traveler, but mostly spend on dining and online shopping. Should I start with chase and then go into maybe Amex gold?

Doesn't one of the tax payment services take Apple Pay? That's a great way to put spending on an Altitude Reserve.

My recommendation is helping others to pay for the vacation trip. I am station in Germany and a lot of my relatives come to visit across europe. What i do is i help them pay for all of it including flights and it hit minimum really fast. I got 2 CC in less than 2 months (3k minimum each) and both are done in 2 months (including travel time 😅😅).

You should do a video explaining 529 basics. I understand you can fund them with credit cards (but not sure if it counts as eligible for bonuses). If so, that’s SUB’s and tax returns for really big savings.

Like others have said, I like to over pay on things I need or use anyway. Utilities, rent, etc. I also use some supplements and meds and, as long as I’m not worried about them expiring, I will place a larger order. It’s something I need anyway, I didn’t buy something unneeded just to hit a bonus.

You can now pay your car registration in Cali with a credit card for a 2% fee. Not much towards a sub, but every bit counts when you are running out of ways. I got my amex gold 2 weeks ago, with my wifes tuition and AppleCare for her MacBook I hit the sub already. Definitely worth the $30 fee the school charged to use a card.
