I don't think the Carlton dance one counts. He took several inspiritional sources and blended them together to make his own thing. Lots of people do that and when they come up with a mixture of something that works, they call it their own new invention and we don't question that. This is no different. It's not like he directly used Eddie Murphy's dance moves on the show and called them his own. He used it as an inspiration for his own dance and blended the style with something else, thereby creating something new.

Catgirl Chara - Nope, I read an official article and watched a video about this topic recently, and the company insist it's a "human girl". I personally say it's an imaginary fictional cartoon character that represents a "kitty cat". I really don't see how anyone (even the creator of this) can try to claim it's "human" since it clearly has kitten animal features.

No, Sam Panopoulos called it the Hawaiian after the brand of tinned pineapple he used when he first created it. Also - Hawaii doesn't grow pineapples, it not even in the top 25 of world producers of pineapples. Nice job getting those upvotes tho
