I have a small ranch, and i carry my Leatherman classic and a pocket knife. I'm constantly fixing fences so the Leatherman comes in handy. But if i need to do a lot of cutting i use my knife. It just makes sense. I also always carry a pistol. We have rattlesnakes, mountain lions, and tons of coyotes.

I used to be a regular beat cop and stepped away from full time law enforcement for a little while but have kept up my certifications and keep a little part time policing job both because it’s a good fall back job so I can hop into a department later on, but also because I love that thanks to LEOSA, I can carry everywhere. I won’t be giving that up any time soon. It’s a shame everybody can’t but I’m glad that at least I can.

And I also do the same thing where I only carry guns off duty that I’m qualified to carry on duty. I just talked our range guy into letting me do the full duty qualifier on my Sig P365 so I can carry that.

In a pinch, the Streamlight Protac 1L-1AA can also take AAAA batteries from kids toys. Best EDC light in my opinion.

That thinner tourniquet looks good. My first thought was that an aluminum rod sounded excessive, but then I noticed that I can bend the thicker plastic rod on my tourniquet with my fingers. I normally carry my tourniquet in my back pocket, opposite from the wallet pocket, instead of using the rigid pouch it came with. This works best for me to reduce the bulkiness.

Great video. Many people carry a knife or a multi tool. It’s not original. But it’s interesting to hear why people chose a specific item. I enjoy listening to ppl’s rationale.

I had a pair of Tozo, and they unfortunately stopped working on one side. Prior to that, they were pretty decent. I've been using Rulefiss i25 wireless earbuds for 5 months, and they are honestly better and still very inexpensive. They block ambient sound very well. Their sound quality is great. Especially when you put on music and adjust your soundboard. When you're satisfied, just save and name that setting, and you're good to go. They also have a better fit and will actually stay in your ears, even if you're running around. The battery life is great, and they charge fast. You should check them out, man. They are almost as good (as far as sound quality) as the inner ears I wore on stage on tour. Most people wouldn't notice a difference, though, and they were $ hundreds. So, it's expected they would sound great. These are like $25 or less.

Solid kit. Best to have it and not need it than need it and not have it. Very very similar to mine other than I carry a SA Echelon now instead of my glock, different watch and the Leatherman MUT. Great video buddy. Love your content. By the way I added the Jtac J-hooks to my PC and what a difference. Who would have thought such a small thing would make that much of a difference. Much prefer those J-hooks over anything else especially for how quickly I can swap my Unobtainium gear DRIP 9 or Unobtainium gear SLEDS placard fast and effectively. I have used mine outside shooting handguns and have been "okay". Rifles rung me a little bit too much IMO.

If I do KZread demonizeses me and shadow bans the video. The KZread AI looks and listens to certain words that will "FLAG" the video. To many flags and the video is toast..

This whole “philosophy” part of edc is silly. Bunch of mostly dudes who put way too much thought into the things they put in their pockets/backpacks and make a big deal out of it - just figure out what you need - make it your own and stfu about it - also that TQ is so gimmicky it makes me shiver- just get a rated tried and true and call it a day - not everything in your kit needs to be “special”
