If you pay attention to the lyrics, the theme is pretty apocalyptic and afraid of nuclear war. The bridge and one of the choruses go There's a room where the light won't find you Holding hands while the walls come tumbling down When they do, I'll be right behind you So glad we've almost made it So sad they had to fade it Everybody wants to rule the world And as J.O.A.T says, it points its criticism to everybody wanting power without considering (or just blatanly ignoring) the costs or the misery that it brings.

This cover always made me want to go out on the road on adventure, listening to it always got me wanderlusting and last August I did just that and went on a roadtrip across the western united states with three of my friends. Now the song brings back all those memories and makes me want to do it again.

I was born in 91 and my parents used to listen to this music around the house all the time, then they divorced when I was around 7 years old and turned out to be a pretty depressive kid, bullied at school and stuff, one of the saddest stages of my life was when I was remembering my toddler years with this music, I used to cry while listen music like this, Duran Duran , Genesis, Talk Talk and just shit that brought me back to that era, these days I cannot even get the edge or remember what I used to like about this song but It kinda came back listening to this cover, when listening to this band in particular I mostly listen to other songs and avoid this one cause I just don't find what was good about it but this cover kinda reminded me what it was to listen to this 17 years ago....

Listened to this song a lot before my 8th grade graduation... it helped me out during some of the toughest months of my life that year. Middle school was the worst three years of my life, but Danny’s music really helped me pull through each day. Now I’m happy to say I’m one day away from starting my senior year. It feels crazy that time has gone by so fast; it seems like it was just yesterday that I was listening to this before taking my last set of eighth grade finals.... I felt like I was finally gonna to be able to rule the world then. Thanks for continuing to bring a smile to my face by your music, Danny. You’ve helped me through some of my toughest times :)

I feel like a few of their songs are already deserving, but their particular branding is hard to market to the mainstream...

Its my birthday today, and I've come back to this song just to appreciate the feeling of getting older and reliving memories. this song brings such an immeasurable feeling of nostalgia and longing for something I've never had. Biggest thank you to Danny for covering this beautiful song, He did it so much justice and I'd have never discovered my love for it without him.

This was the video that introduced me to NSP, and made me really pay attention to how great Game Grumps were (they're still pretty good but that's besides the point). This song just means so much to me. I find myself listening to it and watching the video whenever I feel down or scared, which has been a lot lately. It just has such a feel good energy, and the nostalgia and peace that comes with remembering when I first found NSP is so sweet. This song alone has given me more comfort than I could ask for in these times, and it never gets old. Thank you with all my heart to Dan, Brian, all of TWRP, and the crew for this vid. Absolutely wonderful
