Here is something you should absolutely be making the most of to make ad clear and boss dps in destiny so much easier. The loadout system can be utilized to optimise your setup for different parts of a given encounter. It's not as complex as it may look either ideally you will just want a setup for ad clear and a setup for boss or single target damage. And for these the difference is; 1 possibly 2 weapon choices, A change in exotic armour and most important a change in armour mods.
What I used:
Ad clear loadout:

Important: Siphon mods, special finisher, scavenger, better already, recuperation,loader mods.
Weapons: Ad clear; indebted kindness, forbearance etc.
Exotic: Survivability / ad clear
Boss dps loadout:

Important: 3x surge mods, loader mods, dexterity mods,elemental time dilation
Weapons: Boss damage; edge transit, rapid fire sniper, izanagi etc.
Exotic: Boss Damage
Lucky pants loadout:

Important: 3x surge mods, loader mods, dexterity mods,elemental time dilation
Weapons: Boss damage; edge transit, rapid fire sniper, malfeasance or wardens law
Exotic: Lucky pants
Loadout Swapping: 0:00
How not to lose ammo: 0:36
Ad clear loadouts: 1:27
Damage loadouts: 2:30
Double Damage loadouts: 3:47

Would love to do this if I wasn’t playing on the original Xbox one, it takes almost 40 seconds to open my inventory at times. I’ve had to get really good at using optimal DPS load outs as my main ad clear while not being trash at either DPS or the add clearing. Finding a neutral game setup sort of in the middle version for stuff like pantheon and day 1’s has been incredibly hard though

You can grab the cannon at the ogre fight in the dungeon from below the platform it sits on. Lets you avoid ogre laser (:

As is weapon rotations, give me the 7 rocket salute or give me death
but loadout swaps are so scary
If you're still playing on Xbox One or PS4 please completely disregard this video. You simply cant do this - aside from maybe at a rally flag before a boss encounter.
