Plus I run one to two miles daily or ride my bike for 5 miles. I am 62, 5'11" and 174 lbs. I see a lipid specialist twice a year. Everything is excellent. Glucose is 82, HA1C is 5.2 , BP is excellent. I do have high cholesterol with meds. So, I take a statin. It's ALL diet. I have a strict diet. Heavy on protein and fiber. Low carbs. No junk crap. I try to limit less than once a day but really need to cut it out completely. I smoke too much blunts and get hungry at the end of the night after starving all day. I went from 290 to 185 now by counting calories, walking 20k to 50k steps daily (started small and got stronger ever sense) and eating foods rich in fiber, protein and fats making each calorie count. I look at food as health affordability meaning can my health afford sugary, high calorie foods and can I walk that off or burn it off…..if the answer is no I get an affordable substitute. Instead of a 🍩 dunut (too high in sugar) I get a banana on wheat toast with peanut butter because it has fiber, protein lower natural sugar and carbs and it still tastes like a 7 to 8 which is not a ten like a donut but close enough 😊 I hope you find your solution as we are all rooting for you! 🤞🙏🏿💯💪

Brother I know. I used to be skin and bones 2 years ago. My laziness, jail time, alcohol abuse and poor food choices made me a whopping 190lbs just a couple months ago. I am now down to 170, and plan on dropping to 150-155.

I am 5 foot 3 inches and I weigh 130lbs female. I work out 3 times a day. Body shaming is real. I’m a nurse and you guys know how healthcare workers eat donuts all day. I would bypass that type of food and get body shamed because I didn’t eat food like that. I’m unbothered. 😂

Getting in shape is one of the easiest things to do in life. Especially when you tap into the emotion/stress outlet component of training. That's easy. But life doesn't get easier because you are in shape. You have to workout in the other categories of life as well

Yep. I was just thinking this recently. I've been looking around thinking "everyone is fat!" Even most of the kids are fat now. I started working out again. After a couple of months I'm pretty strong and cut. Got my abs showing again lol. I work out three days a week. Limit my sugar. Part of the problem though is how expensive it is to eat for a strong, healthy body. I'm 6' and 200lbs lean. It takes so much healthy food and protein to maintain it. $$$

The thing is, since most people are fat and content with being lazy and sedentary, if you speak on it at all, they’ll say you’re “fat shaming” when in reality you just want to wake their asses up from the slumber. People don’t like to put in the hard work…they want the easy way out. These same people be the biggest haters too!

I’ve been fat a lot of my adult years. At 44 now in my best adult shape ever I workout 5-7 days a week and run about 25 k per week and 40+ miles Sunday cycling. Most people find being fit a bit too challenging. And that’s all the Fitbit step counting people, trendy to trendy diets, true discipline is most valuable to getting to know one’s self.

It is a mental problem in America that leads to Obesity problems. In your right mind you love and desire to stay fit and in shape. Many cant afford to go to doctors when they dont have medical insurance. Cant eat healthy food if you never home to cook, working twelve to sixteen hours a day takes away from being in gym, and increase in fast food. The society has accepted obesity cause they call it bodyshaming if you talk bad about them. #Lizzo.. Only people that paid to stay in shape are professionals athletes, and entertainers , musicians, models and actors. They paid to keep in shape. Police Officers know damn well they not chasing nobody or jumping walls and fences - how they pass the PT test? Cant say all them 300 plus pound men started off at 185 getting into the force even the women. You can be all muscle and fit and still overweight. Best money a man can make being fit and in shape is prnstar.

We were poor when I was growing up. Never had fast food. Buttered toast eggs, Peanut butter and jelly, and spaghetti for most meals. Pretty good sustenance and super cheap. People are just lazy and addicted to convenience. If you're poor paying $20+ for one meal, you're not poor, you're just plain stupid.
