Those missing X-Force issues in between Vol. 1 and the Deadpool & X-Force omnis are part of X-Cutioner’s Song, which isn’t collected in an Omni but has an oversized hardcover. It was a little odd it wasn’t in any the X-Force omnis since the story primarily revolves around Cable and Stryfe.

The art style is more than nostalgia. I am 28 Ive been catching up on those New Mutants era and the 90s era. The art is really special bcz it's unapologetic. It's wtv the story, tone & style it wanted to be. It's not influenced by mordern corporate safety nets and billion dollar movie franchises. The grit and immersion were unique title to title. Many art styles nowadays feel uniform. Some real good but it's not the same, especially with digital. The soul isn't the same when it's Pencil to a tablet vs Pencil to a paper. Mordern stuff can be good at times but back than when they hit, it's an instant classic.

Not to be a hater, but I must be the only person in the hobby who doesn't like Bill Sienkiewicz art. I found it so ugly and distracting when I read the "New Mutants Omni: Volume 1". Beauty is truly in the eye of the beholder, but I just don't get it with Bill's art. Am I truly the only one who feels this way? For reference of what I *do* consider great art, I like Simonson, Byrne, Turner, Adams, Silvestri, Lee, Layton, and Stevens, just to name a few. Thanks for the run-down, GMC.

Was pleasantly surprised by X-Men 97. My favorite team would probably have to be X-Force.

Is it weird that I can't get away with any X-Men stories, but love X-Force, and wolverine. Believe me I've tried and tried but I just can't. So going down the wolverine and X-Force route 👍

I wish they would announce New Mutants Volume 4 already. There's only 15 issues left to do and has me wondering if they are going to include the first several X-Force issues in it or not.

New Excalibur, 1st x-force and uncanny X-force

Out of all the spinoff teams id have to say x force is my favorite. Especially the uncanny x force run. Tho X factor is a close 2nd.

My guilty read is Mutant X Havok is one of my fav's Would love to see an omnibus (reprint in HC) of that series

X factor 1-8 will be collected in the upcoming x men mutant massacre prelude omnibus. So if you buy all those x men event omnis, you'll be able to skip x factor vol 1 entirely pretty much

I already have Uncanny X-Men Volume 5 though, so I might as well juts buy X-Factor #1 instead of the prelude.

I wish you would have mentioned the censorship in New Mutants Vol.2. I really hope they revert that on next printing.

Pretty cool collection, but I’ll never read it haha. I’ll just never go back to reading comics, I’m beyond happy reading manga, I’ll never get through everything, the volumes are coming in quicker than I can read them, think I’m up 1,700 volumes.

Shouldn't have watched this one. 😂 I've sparingly picked up X-Men Omni's where I can, been focusing on Spider-Man and Daredevil. X-Men is on the back burner for now but I'll get there.
