MSNBC is back by trump's donors so they don't want to talk about the most important platform Project 2025. Social Security dept will be wiped out so no more benefits to the seniors and sick. No more healthcare Medicare Medicaid and income. This is going to pay for DJT's 4 trillion tax break for the wealthy.

My analogy for this situation is this: A satisfied customer tells five people and a dissatisfied customer tells 25 people. Elected officials aren't hearing from the satisfied customers. The dissatisfied, upset or angry people are always the ones with the loudest voices.

There is always a margin for normal error for any individual. Anyone can make minor verbal errors or lose track for a moment. Please tell me, all you who think Biden should remain in the race, how will he handle the next debate? I think what I just heard is that maga can litigate their opposition's failure to admit the sky is paisley as grounds to keep them off the ballot, and taking it to our supreme court will allow them to get away with it. Happy belated Independence Day!

I've seen multiple instances during this administration that concerned me, however, it was not the debate rather it was the time after the debate when he tried to exit the stage that really woke me up to his condition. I saw what I saw and my brain processed it without any extraneous input and the determination that I arrived at as a voter is that he is no longer able to function at the level required to be president and neither is DJT.

Biden has an entire competent administration. His age was always a factor, which I think most voters have already come to grips with, and the knowledge of Biden having an entirely competent administration gives me confidence that a Biden administration would work smoothly even in the event that something happens to Biden. Biden is so committed to service - I think he would feel no greater honor than to give it his all. Trump will almost definitely have the most corrupt administration ever, with the legal permission to do so from corrupt members of the Supreme Court. Electing Biden/democrats is still clearly the best choice. It will take all democrats working together to ensure that democrats win and save our democracy from the corrupt dismantling of our democracy certain to come from a Trump administration.

Maga friends are the same way. But it's disingenuous to cast doubt on opponents merely for listening to and making ridiculous claims. Failing to address the very real reasons that led them to seek and believe such garbage in the first place is short sighted. Telling someone they're stupid for trying to escape the swamp by electing the king of it doesn't inspire them to stop being stubborn and join you instead. It preaches only to the choir. A simple comparison chart, like they have for competing products on shopping websites, would be more effective for voters to make an informed decision than debates or rallies. It would be fun to see Steve Kornaki on QVC do a daily half hour special on it, with live polling and call-in campaign contributions.

I don't think we are giving enough consideration and weight to Biden's strong personal relationships both nationally and internationally which have allowed him to be so effective. There is no replacement for decades of trust. I had not considered potential legal challenges to someone other than Biden running. Such an upheaval may not be surmountable quickly enough (especially with Supreme Court delay). During the primary, my vote for Biden considered the strength of the entire Democratic administration (both candidates are clearly beyond average life expectancy). Biden is unlikely to be misunderstood due to occasional senior moments. Trump is clearly unfit for office due to corrupt behavior and a plan to basically destroy our democracy (with proof of already undermining many essential democratic processes, and institutions).

I'm Progressive. I've hammered Biden over Gaza. This weekend I wrote my Rep and Senators saying that I support Biden staying in. I voted Bernie in 2016 and today, EVERY word that he said, both those that pertained to Biden, as well as those that did not involve Biden, are exactly right. I find myself suddenly very at odds with small progressive indie pundits - TYT, Kyle/Krystal etc, who I watch more than MSNBC - and have sided with Michael Steele over Michael Moore, and side with Rick Wilson and Stuart Stevens on this issue. What wisdom? He can't remember if he re-watched the debate. He said his uncle was eating by cannibals. He said he drove a truck. He said he was the first black vice president. He said he rode Amtrak. He said grew up in the black, Hispanic and Irish churches. In reality Joe is a liar, racist and a child predator.

Independent Bernie Sanders could save us from losing to the worst possible waste of good oxygen…tRump since the deadline to file only ended in 8 states and he could be a write-in candidate there. His popularity and name recognition would mean a landslide win because all those haters the duopoly lost would have a candidate to vote FOR, rather than just against. Sure down ballot defections from split tickets are possible but that would be on the D’s for not drafting Bernie to run as a Democrat.
