I always loved the way he would turn he his hat around when it was go time....... and I ran through a lot of lotion thinking about Ms. Sandra Locke....... oops said that out loud on the keyboard 😂 no but seriously back then her Dolly pardon, Loni Anderson, Suzanne Summers, and Darryl Hannah were my favorite blondes if I could customize my very own perfect blonde she would have: 1. I love the choice to have, in a movie about fighting, an entire fight off screen. It lets the audience know that the fight is so one-sided that it's not even worth seeing, only the aftermath. Brilliant directing choice.

I'm not sure Clint was ever thought of as a comedian, but throughout his career in practicly every movie he had some great one liners, and delivered them perfectly

This and the follow up "Any Which Way You Can" are outstanding movies! Quintessential Clint.

This scene was one of my favorite scenes of the movie. Love how philo smiles as he stands up being taller than both the hoods. He knew they were dog meat. Laughed so hard.

These two films became MASSIVE hits again a few years after their cinematic release with the emerging & booming VHS rental market...It was the first movie so many people rented & was exactly what they wanted to see ...Both great movies, hopefully Clint had a good residuals deal on the then new & unknown VHS movie market...! 👌

Charming and timeless. ...Innocent fun had by all ! Loving your work Mr Eastwood.

This is the type of stuff that little boys aren't growing up watching anymore. Clint Eastwood has always been a total badass and awesome role model for masculinity.

May Geoffrey Bond Lewis R.I.P. Passed away at age 79 on 4/7/2015. Very underrated character actor. Used mostly as a sidekick to his costars.

Every time I see a group of bikers on the highway it plays in my head!

One of my favorite scenes in this movie. I loved how Orville would turn his cap around when he knew a fight was brewing. The best part in this when he said about black widows. 'Most people I know just ****POP**** step on them, and squish them'. lol> Classic

When I see William O'Connell, all I can think of is "Right you are, gentlemen" from High Plains Drifter. I like how Clint used him in several movies like he did Sondra and Geoffrey.

That and the Part where Orville sneezes on his Tattoo are priceless!

When Geoffrey Lewis sneezes on that guy's arm it just cracked me up. When I saw that in the theatre I was on the floor.

Every which way but loose and it's sequel are two of the funniest films you'll ever watch, we always watch them when they're on telly, no matter how many times we watch them we're still laughing our heads off!!! It's a shame Clint Eastwood didn't do more films like this, he is a tough guy actor but he is actually very funny in these two films. Geoffrey Lewis is wonderful as Orville in both films especially in this scene where he sneezes on the Black Widow's arm and says what he does to Black Widows and the thing where he turns his baseball ⚾️ cap around. Just brilliant. The funniest bit is Clint beating the two bikers senseless outside, you can only hear it and see the shadows. If you haven't watched these films then please do because they are genuinely funny and the humour is brilliant. #Clint Eastwood #Geoffrey Lewis (R.i.p) #Clyde the Orangutan #"Right turn Clyde!" #Sondra Locke (R.i.p)

I remember watching this and Any Which Way You Can back to back on Betamax when I was around 12 years old. Loved them back then and still love them now. The music that plays when the Black Widows appear is still in my head 👌

I was in High School when this came out.. I watched it in the Theater. The Movie Studio. said "It is unreleaseable" as in, it sucks so bad, it would embarrass the Studio!!! Clint said, Hey! I will bet my Reputation that people will think it is OK. He used every favor he had to get it released.... People like me... went to the Theaters! We Loved it!... Clint was Right! Clint is my all time Fav!

I saw this movie and Grease in the theater with my first real girlfriend in '78.I was 11. Such a different world back then.

I love how he used the actors from his other films. Most of these guys were in High Plains Drifter.

each time I see Clint and his buddy hear make me think of all the movies most of his cases in most of his movies did together. But one i love was high plains drifter!

...best line in this scene; "Them's black widda's" lol....perfect grammar second best line....."this sure is good pecan pie" lol

Nice to see Geoffrey Lewis (Orville) playing a good guy here. He usually plays villains.

Clint used many of the same actors for his movies. The woman playing the waitress also played Ms. Gray, a member of the Oral Examining Board in "Magnum Force." The bigger biker was Dan Vadis, who was in the motorcycle gang in "The Gaunlet."

Remember watching this and ANY WHITCH WAY YOU CAN at the movie theaters and drive-ins. These movies were just fun😊

One of the funniest thing of this very entertaining movie is its extensive colourful character parade, it is real funny to see those grown up asholes picking fights with Clint Eastwood always with disastrous consecuences for them. It is particularly fumny the guy with the hat trying to intimidate Clint Easrwood with his crab tatoo, and how he pays his respects to Sandra Locke, after Clint takes the challenge. Priceless. Thank you for posting.

That's where I recognise him from! It bugs me when I see someone in something and I can't remember what I have seen them in before. The guy who leads the biker gang actually worked for Nasa in real life and built things that are now on the moon.
