Same reason Marie, a Voodoo Queen and an immortal, couldn’t stop Hank or Delphine, they’re not all powerful. Most of the time a witch needs to be concentrating to access her magic and being caught off guard and vulnerable prevents them from concentrating. Even in a time of crisis, when a witch’s power might flare up, there isn’t a guarantee that the witch might be able to defend herself against a threat.

We need the witches back. More Madison please haha

I haven’t watched all of the seasons so I was only going off what I read about them, and Kendall and Dwight didn’t sound like villains to me. As for Anna’s tormenter, I haven’t watched delicate and you didn’t mention her in your other comment so I didn’t know about her.
