Alright Andy, first for cup head every pink object can be parried which means you can slap it and it will boost you in the air a little bit and how you do that is by pressing the jump button right before you come in contact with it. Second to clear that gap you have to press the dash button which will be the yellow button on that controller or some other button on there. Lastly you can hold down the shoot button and it will rapid fire. Let me know if you have anymore questions.

In cypress you can dash over things. To do the jump you have to jump, and then dash. You can also do boss levels, which are way more fun.

To dash in the air you have to press the same butten as the playstation triangle button. Also, you don't have to tap to shoot, you can hold it and keep shooting. Normally you should also be able to aim your shots upwards by pressing one of the triggers i think :)

For the cup head jump. There is a dash button. you can go to your options and figure that button

I think there's a jump dash in cuphead! It should've taught ya in the tutorial level /:)

I'm 25 and know how to play all of these games apart from 2048 and excluding Lunar Lander, I like them all pretty well. That said, Tempest would suck to play on a touch screen. I don't know if Breakout uses the steering wheel or not but it would work really well with that.
