@IrishKyokushin Well was talking about when Jeff was the NWA World Champion in NWA TNA but not surprised by what you said . Lawler had ownership in USWA so obviously he made himself the top guy . Even with all the controversial title changes . The only guy I saw other than Lawler holding the belt was Terry Funk . Have a match they had in Texas when Funk was champion . Wild match .

My problem with Jarrett was that he was a good worker. His early TNA days, he was a world beater. 27 guys would interfere, he still won. He gets hit with a car, he kicks out at 2. 😂

Supposedly the rumor is that when Snowman was champion he pawned the belt for drug money hence why the old AWA World Title replaced it . Purely speculation . If anybody can verify that would love to know .

At one point all of these promotions that were on🔥at one time all came together to unified their champions to try to compete & survive against the WWF But after Lawler winning the title some 28 times, (more if you count his CWF title runs) the USWA belt became a JOKE!!! I'm sure Mantuar was a fine champion!

While I find it extraordinary and praiseworthy to have so many black champions, the title reigns are a joke. Didn't Lawler co-own the territory? It's a bad look to repeatedly give him the title.
