Trick Pony was very genius to make up that series of lyrics, you are correct.
As some from Ireland I have never been so offended by something I hundred percent agree with

I KNOW RIGHT? Me classmate in school was bragging about how his parents let him drink cuz we live in a small town where 15 year olds be driving the tractors down by their little scary roads its just kinda normal Sure me mate works at her families pub and they are Stacked probably from how much anyone over 16 loves the pubs

I've noticed this listening to a lot of Irish folk song. "We are all feckin' drunk, 80% of me family died a horrible death before me green Irish eyes, and that's how I found meself singin this song" And they're all catchy as sin! 🤣

One of my fave Irish songs (I unfortunately can't remember the name of or lyrics for) is just "here's how my [insert family member] died, I'm going to drink some alcohol lol" over and over, it's funny and catchy and hopefully now that I'm thinking of it I'll be able to find it again Edit: 2 comments under this one was just the chorus to that song so my journey will be shorter than I expected

The funniest “Irish and drinking” bit ever was Family Guy, where pre-alcohol Ireland looked like the Jetsons, but as soon as someone invented “whiskey” things went downhill quickly.

Yeah, family guy didn't invent that one. You may be surprised to learn that family guy used a great deal of jokes that were from somewhere else. There's an easy way to tell. Did you laugh? Then it was someone else's joke.

@@JackSilver1410 seth mcfarland has made a tonne of original material. Yes he has touched on old jokes but made them his own with slight twists. Jokes are also made to be told over and over again, by anyone. I'm sure you have passed a joke on, and not "invented" the joke.

Ok, but the Synchronized laugh is KILLING ME
the fact that I would unironically listen to this-
🎶 Now everybody's died So until our tears are dried We'll drink and drink and drink And then we'll drink some more We'll dance and sing and fight Until the early morning light Then we'll throw up, pass out and then go drinking once again 🎶
