Arkhan has unique landmark buildings only available to him. There is an especially useful one in the Top Knots capital that buffs all basic skeletons and Tomb Guard faction wide. This gives his faction an edge in the general quality of every army he's faction produces.

Yes, the +100 Vampiric Unit Cap Nagishizzar unique building in particular just by itself should place Arkhan at the top of any list for TK Mortal Empires Campaign. And that's before you get to the other unique buildings scattered around the map. None of the other Tomb King's have anything comparable.

@@Agemouk It's a great boost in the mid-late game, but early game, the vampire units are a trap, in my opinion. They're marginally better than equivalent tomb king units, which is good, but there are zero red tree skills in the tomb kings that affect them, and they do not count towards the Realm of Souls replenishment that Tomb King units can get. Now, once Arkhan levels up and can boost them on his special skill tree, they improve quite a bit, but for the first 12 levels, they are lagging behind in use.

Suggestion: do a best of list for the schools of magic

The fact that Kathep doesn't have tundra as favourable climate also hinders him.

Khetep is the only tomb kings campaign I've played and I enjoyed it. The starting location is challenging but that's part of the fun. I played it on hard and I was OK. I like khatep's spells and his liche priest spells and I recommend him even if he isn't the strongest or most new player friendly lord.

I actually really enjoy Khalida, the stalkers and necropolis knights are my favorite looking TK units, and it's always fun raining arrows for days, even if they're not the strongest, but when you get Ushabti with Greatbows, Khalida's strengths really shine. Her main problem I find is having to square off against the Lizardmen early-game which will mollywhop your skeletons and you really just have to divide and conquer their armies.

You can use it. It is a passive ability that activates when the caster that has ability casts a spell

Arkham used to be good before Bretonnia rework but it ruined he's faction really badly.

How does he have 3 starting units? I only have 2 for my tomb kings.

Oof. Khalida and Khatep are both shit, but arkhan being put below Khalida is just wrong... Arkhan can easily compete for number 1. Firstly Arkhan does not have good bonuses himself, that is true, but his items make up for it by a mile and a half. On top of that he has access to death magic, which is amazing. Especially for a faction with limited access to schools of magic(Nehekarra one is also shit overall) and limited access to the ammount of spellcaster heroes they can actually get. Fact that all of their lords are regular melee combatants with access to no magic is also a problem in endgame, having actual caster lord is highly beneficial. Saying that VC units are nothing major is... well.. stupid. Firstly you get access to dogs and bats, both are AMAZINGLY useful against bretonian units (which are your early game oponents) and against any low armored targets, like skeletons of which you will be farming plenty of. Not to mention that bretonian infantry is mostlly low leadership and they will rout easily and dogs are THE UNIT you want for that moment. Then you get crypt ghouls which are, again, great at dealing with low armor infantry. To top it all off eventually you get Hex Wraiths, which are amazing cavalry that is easy to get unlike Tomb king end game cavalry. Settra is easy, has simple, but powerful bonuses, but in the end Arkhan and Settra could easiyl be both rank 1.

I think Khalida is number 1 and Arkhan is number 2. Why? Because look at arkhans hat! And look at Khalida her staff!

Honestly from mu experience Khatep is the weakest lord but I just dont like the black enough to deny Dj Khatep a spot over him

idk man, your videos lack depth. Spend less time describing what lords/ units/ factions do and explain what is especially impactfull, why that is and how to use it. I can read the descriptions myself. Not trying to troll, just a suggestion.
