When I was Watching that IT remake I've laught when they were jumping off that cliff. Especialy Finn's character who jumps willingly this time. I mean it literaly looked like the one in Stranger Things. Seemed a lot higher in Hawkins.

As much as I‘d love to see that just for comedic value; I think Hopper should go back to at least half mentally stable. And if he does remain kinda deranged, it should be shown in a more believable way. They could use his imprisonment as an explanation fir that. Because I think in season three he‘s a bit of a joke which I don‘t particularly like about Hopper.

"Stand by me was avery traumatic movie to watch as kids so we had our kid actors watch it too"

I love how they say "This traumatized us as children but we love it so we used it" 😂😂

What I love about Stranger Things is that they aren’t COPYING 80s movies. It’s almost as if these little nods are solely there for the experience. Our subconscious recognizes them and thus puts us even further into the mindset that we are viewing the 80s.

The amount of effort put into the small details is incredible. Every little thing in the series has a reason to be there. Bravo

There’s a formula to making great content. They themselves have created their own unique iconic scenes while paying homage to all their inspiration which is so cool to see. Artists inspire other artists since the dawn of time. Take The Matrix, it was inspired by multiple sources and if you take those sources away there wouldn’t be The Matrix. There’s even Easter eggs in that movie too and it’s one of the best Sci Fi movies ever created.

Honestly, i'm surprised they didn't mention the truck flip as an ET reference. It's by far the best reference to you know which scene, mainly because they don't copy it. They imitate it, fake us out, and do their own thing with the premise. ET saves his group of kids by floating them out of danger. Eleven saves hers by means of truck yeet.

Amazing how almost every scene of Stranger Things is shot back to back in homage to all these classic and unforgettable films, which ironically Stranger Things has turned to be quite iconic for what it is and I’m truly grateful for this show since I’ve always been in love with and nostalgic for a decade I’ve never lived through and that Is the 80’s! Thank you Duffer brothers! ♥️

They made a small budget one called Hidden in 2015. Although some flaws I really enjoyed it and especially the ending. Check it out.

I finished season 3 and now I get bored and I just binge-watch the closest thing to Stranger Things.

Is that even debatable? I think it is pretty obvious that he is the "American" referred to at the end of season 3, who else could it be?

Everyone, but he's not in the cell. When the person in the is revealed to Bob you'll all be like holy $#!+. Then Hopper will come back in another way.

@@daveborn1971 That would not make any sense, we clearly saw Bob die on screen, the flesh was ripped off his body. Hopper's death on the other hand was left more ambiguous, we did not clearly see him die like we did Bob.

I love just how Stranger Things is the Duffer brothers way to live out & reference all their childhood dreams! That’s why it’s beaming with passion (despite the hardcore homage).

Is anyone else randomly humming the Never Ending Story song since they watched season 3? That was my favorite story groing up

I can't believe they didn't mention Poltergeist. The scene with Joyce talking to Will through the lights is exactly the same as the one with the parents talking to Carol Anne through the tv. Plus the whole concept of the kid being in the same space as the mother yet not the same dimension, and being stalked by a terrifying beast while he's there. C'mon, that's so much more relevant than the tiny reference to Witness!

I've just watched all of the Stranger Things seasons, I love that series. The Duffers did a very good job of both setting the scene, making the visuals and sound, but also make a great character dynamic, between the leading roles. It is one of my favorite series, and I think it is in the same league as Game of Thrones (1-7) and The Office, as well.

Season 3 had a lot of Magnum Pi references. I know it's not a movie but the way they made Hooper the cheap version of Magnum was super hilarious. :D

I grew up watching all of this epic films... No wonder why I love this show so much. Thank you Duffer Brothers for giving us such an awesome show. Keep them coming! Thanks also to WIRE for the interview. 👍🏼

Growing up in the 80s, the show def makes me nostalgic esp the mall scenes and the clothing. The mall was THE hang out spot.

They created,wrote and directed stranger things .. They need way more appreciation!

I also noticed in season 3 that Max is a fan of the Karate Kid and her boyfriend Lucas, wore the bandanna & rising sun shirt like Ralph Macchio’s character.
