@@sebastiancintron29 it don’t make sense for him to lose nowadays. Roman has this “god mode” type character who’s unbeatable(excluding the extremely rare 3 times he was pinned in the last 4 years) so if they’re setting up for Rock v Roman it wouldn’t make sense for the Rock to be putting people over right now. he’s gotta build up his credibility

I'm still bitter about it because it's not our fault he was a thief and the better punishment would have been for his mother to take us to the event and use his ticket while leaving him with stadium security.

I understand this is your list, Cultaholic, but I have to VEHEMENTLY disagree with your placement of the WrestleMania 15 match. For me, that match is the BEST of the three WrestleMania bouts between Stone Cold and The Rock. Their match at 'Mania 17 I honestly feel was their worst, because it felt like a very one-sided match in Austin's favor, and its ending with Austin's heel turn and siding with Vince McMahon made absolutely zero sense whatsoever (I love Stone Cold, but his run in 2001 was my least favorite year of his). In contrast, their bout at WrestleMania 19 was the reverse: It felt very one-sided in Rock's favor, and I felt it had the wrong ending (I have a personal bias that wrestlers should always WIN their last match, and that match at 2003's Mania was going to be Austin's final match, so I was very disappointed when he lost). The one saving grace their 'Mania 19 bout had was that, as Cultaholic stated, both wrestlers put each other over by trading a LOT of finishers with each other to make each other look very strong, especially the ending where Rock gives Austin a THIRD Rock Bottom to win the match (the look in Rock's eyes when the camera zoomed in on him before he hit the finisher said, "If this one doesn't work, NOTHING will!") By comparison, the match between Austin and Rock at Mania 15 was, for me at least, literally the PERFECT match between the two: The build-up over the past few months was perfect, both wrestlers felt equally driven to win, and both wrestlers truly felt evenly matched in the ring. That's why I will always feel that the greatest match in the rivalry between Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Rock was their match at WrestleMania 15.

@@SONOFPEARL315Na, it's hipster analysis. The attitude era got so goated that some people decided to start speculating about how overrated it was, so the things "that were bad", they have been given way way way way WAY more airtime for the purposes of this analysis than they ever were in the attitude era. Al Snow being forced to eat his dog Pepper? It was a c-level angle, the BossMan/Snow feud had done better than expected so they tried to make it "more intense", but it failed to catch on. No biggie, after the horrible kennel from hell match they quickly dropped it all while the rest of the show carried on being it's delightful self. Mae Young giving birth to a hand? Was never important, D-list angle at best, nobody cared about where it was going and nobody was even phased by how it ended, because it was one of the least important things happening. It was completely overshadowed by Bubba Ray putting Mae Young through a table. That was way more important than that angle ever was. Nobody was talking about the hand thing around then, they were talking about Bubba putting her through the table instead. Critiques of the attitude era talk far more about Mae giving birth to a hand than Bubba putting her through tables. That was the biggest angle she was in by far, not some goofy stuff they just did for background 'comedy'. It's a shame that people give that hand angle so much attention but talk about Triple H v Taka Michinoku is pretty much non existent, that match was a revelation when it happened, Taka had his working boots on and Triple H proved just how good he was, it was a somewhat main event mini-angle that went on for 3 weeks or so. The hand angle was never main event level.
