Man they really had no idea how to control those live finale's. The tattoo's are absolutely amazing but the interactions are all awkward as hell. Cutting people off, having to shout over the audience cheering at completely inappropriate times. What a fiasco

I always hated the live finales. It is no problem to have them live but you have to be able to control the crowd and the audio.

Loved the color pallet Josh chose for the tattoo, but holy hell, my eyes were all over the place and couldn't even tell where the snake, eagle, or the dragon's head were at. Yet, they chose him over Rolly's tattoo which, imho, was better and more legible.

Besides the readability, Josh nailed it on every other specific technical tattoo ability… thats why Josh won over Roly and frankly i agree… if you’ve watch the season, Roly was good but at the same thing over and over… like he screwed up traditional Japanese, neo traditional, American traditional AND drawing from the hand direct on skin… just watch the final 5 episode were he jacked up the black and grey pin up drawing from the hand. That should have been his exit but he got lucky because Jason screw his 2nd 6hr tattoo more…

u blind? or is it because im asian lol? i really like anthony tattoo, it looks like japanese traditional. the color, the outline, the drawing literally look like japanese painting. for me it does look finished even tho anthony say it isnt , that is how we painted dragon fur ,we dont use background all the time as well, that is how we paint the scales too and create shading from it.

@@Joshpower57 no what i mean is if it unfinished its still look good as it is. while cleen say its finished but it looks blurry af. sure if antony wants to add more detail he can do it ,but for a traditional chest piece ,for me it looks good as it is. u can say me whatever but it is my people artstyle ,we know what its supposed to look like. and that dragon is a killer japanese dragon.

I gasped when Antony's dragon was revealed. Amazing.

@@NickFortier as an asian ,for someone who never tattoo japanese traditional that is a killer design, it literally looks like a japanese traditional painting. it looks dark as it is ,of course christian has more pop its an american traditional tattoo. but at least it is better than cleen, many people think cleen shouldve won while for me it is a weak black and grey tattoo.

Ryan only had 4 years experience during Season 8, and she was tattooing a style she was unfamiliar with. It's understandable that she wouldn't be super confident.

I cried when Cleen won the finalé.

If they get renewed for another season then there’s a website where you can apply to be an Ink Master Canvas to get a tattoo as long as you are open to anything and open to travel

The battle royale chest piece kinda sucked. Colors just blended into each other composition was lacking. 4/10 overall.

Ryan was only a contestant because of her looks. Her skills were never on par with Gian's. Even in the later seasons and as a judge, shes just middle of the road as an artist, but she's hot, so her opinion and work matters to god level status.
