fun fact, the first riddle gif is a boss/miniboss called Seth, designed by a kid who had cancer, but loved hollow knight, and team cherry found this out and the kid's character was implemented. sadly, the kid died of cancer, but hey, at least he got what he wanted

Hornet has a run ability unlike the Knight, it looks to me like she was running and hit the wall, which caused the bounce-off. If you were regularly walking or dashing(?) I'd assume it wouldn't push you off

It looks similar to the skull on the top of the ant warriors so we could possibly get that power up from them. Maybe it is indeed a shield or maybe when Hornet reaches that life she can turn into an ant. Don't ask me how this came up to my mind.

If you look closely at Hornets soul meter (top left) it changes about three times, maybe there’s more, I believe one of them is basically a Steel Soul mode for Silksong, and one is default, and the third has spikes on it, seen in areas and monsters, perhaps a charm? Maybe a new Hornet form? A cool item/upgrade? Idk, but looks cool!

The things at the soul meter (silk meter) are likely showing which crest you have equipped. The spikes is shown as one of the tools later, in that 3rd tool section. My guess is that it works like thorns in minecraft.

Team cherry said that there will be a "silk soul" mode after you beat the main story, they said that it will be *like* the steel soul mode but thats all we know

We've been discussing barely 10 minutes for LITERAL YEARS now.

Id on't remember their name, but that small white character, i wouldn't be surprised if we met them pretty early in the game. Since there are two different sceneries in which we see us fighting them, it could probably be like a new hornet. Hopefully it's not too early tho, since it'll take time to get used to the mechanics.

i was thinking they might do something like MC Storymode, where you can choose different responses that alter what happens later with that NPC, but it looks like I was wrong. Still a cool feature!

I really hope that the thing shown at 1:39 (the drill attack) will be some sort of thing you can angle at a 360° angle. I mean Hornet even looks like an arrow that's pointing at where she's gonna get launched. It'd be cool to use imo

One thing that I noticed is the amount of changes to Hornet's masks and heath bar. There appear to be three different mask styles and six different health bars, counting the main types. What this implies, I have no idea. Will there be different game modes, or ways to change whatever the health bar variety is linked to during the game?
