Brilliant player and a future Major champion if he keeps this up. I think hes gonna really be in contention come the masters.

it was great to watch my favorite pro golfer win big on my birthday!

That to me only shows how good he actually could be. He has a lot of these in every tournament, still he is up there almost every tournament.

Actually it’s not steep at all. Yes the backswing may be vertical, but he is currently probably the most shallow player on tour.

The photo for the video has him holding the trophy yet theres no point in the video with him holding the trophy. What gives?? PGA?!

Based on their placement throughout the season. If you get the most fedex points you start under par whatever your ranking is

When do you think they will totally make trees obsolete in golf? This is a joke. Why would any player be intimidated by wide fairways and perfect greens? How about bringing the ball back to reality. Nicklaus would be hitting it passed everyone unless he was going with his 1iron. 1 iron?

He started the championship at -8 because of his ranking.

The reason he started -8 in the Fedex cup finals (which he has gained through points system /how he has played the whole season) is because he was ranked #2 before this last tournament. The winner of The fedex cup final is called «best player of the season» for a reason. The Fedex cup (3 last tournaments) isnt like a regular PGA tournament. The 70 best in the rankings play the 1st of those 3 tournaments, then the 50 best and the last tournament, this one, the 30 best only). The #1 ranked start with -10, #2 start with -8, the #3 with -7 etc.thats because the ones who has played better through the whole season should have an advantage over those who barely made top 30 when it comes to who the best golfer of the season is. They play for Fedex points through the whole season to have the best starting position in this last tournament. Still Hovland played the best out of anyone (-19, same as Schaufelle). Hovland shot 18 strokes better than #1 ranked Scheffler who started with -10.
