Love playing there! Playing it from 6500 yards is a joy. Often, I have to hit wedge shots off the green to get it close to the hole. Very fun course.

@@ryanj1262 it is very wide open. Under the trees you can hit punch shots typically. Makes it really fun!

The guy behind Rory on the 16th tee...it's a 155 yard par 3 but he's looking up for ages,Rory must hit his tee shots vertical...even on short shots like that 🙄🙄😲😳

It’s power. He probably carries a 58 wedge that far, which is very high loft travel, while we are pulling out 9 to 8 iron (lower loft travel) which is going to get there faster.

If you want to roll your putts the right distance you need good feel, to get good feel you need a light grip and I mean light 1-10 grip pressure, this guarantees you'll let the putter head 'swing' and release. Try it, 'super light grip pressure', and let the head swing, your speed control will be GREATLY improved...... you're welcome.

When you hold your putter almost feel like it wants to drop out of your hands, naturally you will hold it(tight enough to prevent that) but having that light feeling is the key to distance control. Soft grip and let that putter head swing. Try some putts on the practice green where you're barely holding the putter and your feel sensors will really kick in, you'll really feel the head weight swing and that's what you need to putt well. Nicklaus said he putted best when his grip pressure was at it's lightest/softest. The one tip he offered Greg Norman on the eve of the final round of the 1986 Open, was, watch your grip pressure!

Took me ages to come back and find this comment but thought I would anyways 😂I thought your comment was so unnecessary and random in a KZread comment section but tried it out on the putting green all week and shot my first ever 68 today because of sinking more putts, had a feel with the putter like never before and thought I should say thank you! Such a simple tip but ridiculously effective (I’m a 4hcap btw, well 3 after today lol)
