One of the GREATEST DIRECTORS ever!!!!

Once Upon a Time in America is AMAZING A true masterpiece….. but…. Good Lord does it drag in parts.

I dont care about pacing,the film drags a bit but not so that it takes away from your experience.i like tg,tb atu i just dont think its a top 50 western of all time

My top 5 Leone movies are : 1 the good the bad and the ugly 2 once upon a time in the west 3 once upon a time in america 4 for a few dollars more 5 a fistful of dollars I haven't seen the rest. I always had once upon a time in the west on 1 and couldn't come into the good the bad and the ugly but I rewatched it and I'll say right now it's the best movie of all time. And yes Sergio Leone is definitely top 10 best directors ever. For me the best because I enjoy his movies the most.. Nice list altough I haven't seen all of his movies but I'd say I watched his best ones

When I first saw The Good, The Bad, And The Ugly in the early 70s I considered it the best western I'd ever seen, 50 odd years on it still holds 1st place for me.

Can't warm to Once Upon a Time in the West. It's not bad! ; but for me, it's too operatic. Of course you can argue Leone's style was always Operatic but no, I'd say he had a perfect formula in the Dollar Trilogy: cinematic, nice humour, raw, dirty, and wonderful, languid pacing, allowing you to indulge in scenes and immerse yourself in the world. And even the bad guys had lots to say and were never so comic-book evil as Fonda's dark angel. Once Upon a Time in the West had all the Leone elements BUT in too knowing a way. The scenes were drawn out too long, the humour disappeared, the drama had tons of Melo added. To me it seems a Leone movie made by a student of Leone.

He has no taste HOW DARE he try to rate BLONDIE PERIOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The good the bad and tge ugly is way overrated!!!!!
