And the last rap battle had built up everything he went through with his mom, his girl, with Freeworld and he had to prove to himself and everyone... and it took us as an audience and got us hooked like a Rocky final fight and losing is not an option... not to mention the Shook Ones beat and the lyrics that went hard. I still rewatch the clip of the final rap battle regularly

The raps on the stage were so perfectly executed noticed how Eminem came up and choked the first time around and at the end it was 'The Big Bad Wolf' who choked in the end Papa Doc was like the final boss but how you gon diss someone who dissed you an dissed himself with hardest lines you could ever think of like honestly hats of to the production team of this movie even years from now, the children of your children can look at this master piece and say yeaaa this shiii is real music

I’m an old white dude from the D. Used to go on school field trips to Cranbrook (mentioned in the video). All this time I thought it was a museum/zoo/art exhibit kind of spot. Wasn’t until I was older that I realized it was a private school that occasionally was generous enough to allow the poor kids to look at their dinosaurs & telescopes once a year. F Cranbrook, hahaha.
