There is a Metro Tunnel currently under construction and it will be complete and open by 2025 and it will service the Sunbury, Cranbourne and Pakenham Lines. Also it will have direct connection with the Melbourne Airport Rail Link by 2029.

update on the crossing at 1:51:15, as of today (11/05/24) this crossing has since been removed due to the rebuild of Keon Park station which is nearing completion.

The Sunbury line has the most level crossings on it. Only the Cranbourne and Lilydale lines will become level crossing free

Amazing dedication and work! How much time did the earliest and most recent two clips span? 4:13 G'Eira Rd, R'lea. Extreme jaywalking and train catching. Could've gone very wrong with a severe casualties and severe delays. Surely that's illegal? Of course it is.

There's a error in the park street one. Boom gates were not installed in the 1190s, trains never existed in that time frame unless it was 1990 that the boom gates were installed.

Great video, well researched. I only have 1 critique to make, and please accept it as a positive comment. Please spend more time on your spellings of place names, and, if you are not sure of the spelling, look it up. On the Sandringham line you have Windsor spelt "Winsor" which I take it you have spelt it phonetically. Also on the same line you have the Bay Road crossing as Brighton, it should be NORTH BRIGHTON. (One of my favourite railway model shops is a stones throw from the station). Also on the Mernda line you have the place name of RESERVOIR spelt as "RESOVIOR". Also if possible, try and avoid using cut and paste when the same information is used on multiple stations. On the Upfield Line you have multiple instances of "Boom Barriers First installed in the 1190's" I know a 3 hour video can sometimes make it lazy to not do a final check before uploading. I have done it myself AFTER uploading, then getting the original footage and re-editing it and then spend 2 -4 hours re-uploading again. Looking forward to you doing a video of the eliminated crossings with their replacements - Skyrail, trenching. FWIW the Camms Road crossing is now open with 2 tracks. The work to replace the crossing with road over is set to begin in a few months time and take 18 months/2 years to complete. Then the "fun starts" as what to do with 4 crossings when the Clyde extension is finally approved and construction begins. Once again a job well done. ... Ian
