The only reason i want a series x is 360 backwards compatibility, i can play gta 4 at 60 fps. And some last gen games the ps5 wont play at 60, the xbox will.

@@bleeky8o8 I assumed it would be free even after the subscription runs out ( came from PC gaming) as nowhere did people mention or atleast warned to have an active ps plus membership to continue to play them. Now about the idea that "it is cheaper than buying the game outright". Yes it would be true if the game is brand new (a month or few weeks old but Sony doesn't believe in that ideology apparently) or if you plan to play the game only once. Let's say I bought the last of us part 2 for Rs 600 on a sale. I could play that forever for that one time 600 whenever I want. But if I get it through plus "free" games, I would be paying Rs. 500 for this month and If I want to play it next month another 500 if I want to play it 4 or 5 months later another 500 and so on until it ends up far more expensive than if bought individually.

you have to have ps+ to play the games and download them but once you cancel the subscription you will still have the game in your library but won’t be able to play them until you renew your subscription

Yup, that happened to me. I downloaded the game AC Vahalla one day with the PlayStation Plus premium, and one day I wanted to play it, and it showed a little locked Im like, bruh, wtf. I didn't understand at first why it showed that, but I eventually knew what that meant

“Sometimes” lol no. Ps collection an ps plus free games will never be deleted, it’s yours to keep. Games on ps extra an premium are not yours to keep, only to rent an can be removed whenever.
