Todo mi respeto a tu forma de pensar...el animal no entiende de camino, de compromiso que tienen en ese momento la gente que esperaba para que se retire porque la verdad es el hombre que invade su territorio imponiendo sus intereses primero antes que el de elefante, pero vi que las personas solo lo querían espantar a través de cohetes sin provocar ningún daño. Who is hurting these elephants. On the other hand more than 600 people are killed every year due to elephant attacks. As elephants are worshipped in lndia and also as very few lndian elephants have tusks the number of elephant death due poaching is very less in lndia when compared with African elephants. Most of the un natural deaths of elephants in lndia is due to accidents like electrocution due high tension wires and railway accidents and sometimes poisoning.

Damodaran it is dangerous to light fire crackers in the middle of a forest. It may harm the elephants or start a forest fire or provoke the elephant to go on a rampage. People should wait patiently for the elephant to move off by itself in elephant corridors. Elephants are harmed and sometimes killed in India too despite the belief that elephant is Ganesha as the statistics will show. There should be animal over bridges at regular intervals over roads and railway tracks crossing forests and elephant corridors. Elephants move only in their own elephant corridors. So if there is human elephant conflicts it is because some greedy settlers have encroached into elephant corridors removing deep rooted forests and making the entire region susceptible to mud sliding and floods and loss of life and in addition provoke elephants to go on a rampage dangerous to all. So the forest department should remove electric fences and encroachments in elephant corridors . They should also transplant teak trees in Reserve forests to tea estates and resorts on a rental basis to prevent mud sliding in tea estates and resorts. They should plant only bamboo and other trees native to the local forests in the Reserve forests and elephant corridors. They should dig lakes and ponds at regular intervals for storage of rain water for wild life and surround the lakes and ponds with sugarcane and banana trees.

I love this elephant. after 50+ yrs of the hard core treatment given an idolized (crippled) temple elephant, he's seen & heard enough fireworks to ignore them. period. he's retired now & knows it. damn humans can just wait their turn on the road. he's the Bull, & in no hurry. doesn't like that light in his eyes though...

Elephants hace something i cannot explain but it's related to their way of being.. they do what they please and anybody fuck with them.. they are hard to scare away XD. He still there, he doesn't give any shit...

Build more roads to get access out of there..how hard would that be? and the elephants will exit and give you the space that's needed..its not like nobody knew the elephants were already there..r you with me?
