LaDainian Tomlinson in 2006 28 Touchdowns in a season still remains a NFL Record along with 31 Touchdowns too to his 1st NFL's MVP what a tremendously terrific football life LT has no question about it

Lmao Walter Peyton and Erik Dickerson played in the same era, Gail Sayers and Jim Brown played in the 60’s though one ended in 65 right as the other one was beginning, Emmitt Smith and Barry Sanders was same era as well but you could have a argument and I recognize that you did say “might” as well so I’m not holding you to anything. The TD record was broken in what was it 2003, 2005, 2006 if I’m not mistaken so yeah those boys were balling. Idk if any of them are in the Top 5 all time but as a collective they were a TUFF group. LJ following Priest was Wild for KC!!

I could say the best decade. The balance that football had from the 90's and 2000's was incredible, because offense, defense, running the ball, passing the ball, special teams, all played a key role in any championship run. You can always say the same about today or before that era, but you could have one of those be great and make it with just average ranks everywhere else. Now, it's passing or no win, and a good enough defense.
Priest Holmes and Larry Johnson combined for 125 rushing TD's between 2002-2006. Insane production from those 2

I wish he had gotten one with the 49ers as I don’t like the Ravens, but it’s a shame regardless that he didn’t win one.
Such a beauty when a player on your team can score a touchdown 20+ times a season
Marshall Faulk was SO DAMN GOOD!
Tomlinson's stiff arm on O.J. Atogwe in 2006 was the best ever. Homie's helmet, and head rag went flyin.
Crazy how the rushing record kept on being one upped every year lol 2000s had some crazy good rbs
I remember that LT season like it was yesterday. To bad they didn't go further in the playoffs
MARSHALL FAULK & PRIEST HOLMES WERE LEGENDS SO UNDERRATED HONORABLE MENTION SHAUN ALEXANDER 🐐🐐🐐

What we learned here today is that while Kurt Warner was a great QB, the greatest show's glue was Marshall.

I can’t believe they didn’t show the play where he PitMastered Revis with the one hander. Man that has to be one of the best plays ever considering how dominant Revis was at the time while on his way to becoming a first ballot Hall of Famer. I remember everyone was hyping up that match up that entire week wondering if Revis was gonna put Moss on Revis island. Lol Moss had his as looking like Tom Hanks in cast away yelling for Wilson!
The running back position is the greatest position. Let’s just say it. The history and the effort the men put in day after day is awe inspiring.

Not the announcer calling the 49ers the prospectors 😂😂

Of those teams, the 76 Steelers are the best in my opinion, and they might have threepeated with no injuries. Also if we are talking about the performance of all teams who ultimately repeated, then the Steelers appear a second time in 1980 (which was a pretty average team following two champions).

Damian Harrell had 60 touchdowns for the Colorado Crush back in 2006. Top that!
Rice and Moss being the only wide receivers on the list speaks volumes about their respective greatness. It’s sooo hard for a receiver to get 20+ touchdowns in a season.
Deangelo Williams was sweet to watch back in his Prime in Carolina I like Williams he's real sweet 0:24
Jerry Rice should have been the MVP in 1987.
I haven't forgotten how Priest Holmes was the absolute BEST as well as a BadAss Running Back in the NFL 17:07
23 in 12 games will forever be tough to do
Terrell Davis 1998 season was the best RB season considering he sat out 8 quarters of football due to Broncos winning in blowout fashion
Please do leading receivers in each conference each season as well as leading rushers. Separate videos.
Shaun Alexander and LT have both broken the single season record rushing TDs. The only thing that doesn’t resonate with me is how LT is in the Pro Football hall of fame and Alexander isn’t

@@JameloGrant11Some running backs decline if you take their best lineman away. That said, Shaun Alexander did quite well with the line he had for half a decade (five straight seasons of double digit touchdowns with the 05 season being the best of course), and he rushed for more yards than most players today are likely to get the opportunity to because of the nature of the position. I wouldn’t be opposed to calling Alexander a Hall of Famer, but Tomlinson is definitely better.

Ahman Green was the man in 2003 for the Green Bay Packers. Very underrated player
Trent Green laying it on the line with that block lol
Those older players don’t get enough credit for the fields they had to play on. Every field was trash back then. One more thing, can someone tell me what it was like to have LT on your fantasy team in 2006? I can’t even imagine the complete domination he was doing on a weekly basis. That had to be one hellava feeling for some lucky MF’s who drafted him. Blessings!
I didn’t know some of the players like DeAngelo Williams had 20 touchdowns in 2008. I know Jonathan Taylor did it 3 years ago. LeSean McCoy did it as a member of the Philadelphia Eagles. David Johnson did that 8 years ago. Ahmad Green and Austin Ekeler were one of the players to score 20 touchdowns in their career. Eric Dickerson had a great season in 1983 with 20 touchdowns. Raheem Mostert scored 21 touchdowns last season as a Dolphins. There are so many running backs who scored 20 or more touchdowns in this video. Great stuff!!!🏈🏈🏈🏈🏈🏈
Man I miss the 90s and mid 2000s uniforms.

JERRY RICE#80 23 TDS(22 RECEIVING , 1 RUSHING) IN 12 GAMES IN 1987 WAS A NFL MVP PERFORMANCE FOR THE GREATEST PLAYER IN LEAGUE HISTORY ..
Terrell David was such a awesome BadAss of a running back with the Broncos 15:35
Great video!
It's ridiculous to compare a 20 TD season from players with a 14 game season to players with a 16 or 17 game season.
John Riggins was the truth back in his Prime but he didn't disappoint 16:22
Damn... how was Jamal Lewis not on this list. Seems like he should've hit that 20 mark in 2000 when he rushed for over 2,000. Crazy. Or Fred Taylor for Jags

Trent Greene out here as the enforcer!
Just showed once again that David Johnson should’ve won MVP in 2016
IIRC Shaun Alexander's career went downhill fast after that 2005 season. He was never really the same
That’s crazy how much offense is in the NFL. Yet there are no modern day players on this list.
R.I.P to the one and the only legendary larger then life one of a kind player Gale Sayers the Kansas Comit 1965 he had one of the best if not the greatest Rookie Season in NFL's History 6 Touchdowns in one game vs 49ers but he still holds the Record with 22 Touchdowns 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽 11:55

Jerrys “I catch multiple TD passes in the 4th Q of games where were multiple scores ahead to pad my stats” 1987 season
Priest Holmes was the most underrated great phenomenal player to ever grace the football field in the NFL after winning a Super Bowl Championship Ring in 2000 with the Ravens he was unstoppable in his Prime with Kansas City Chiefs the former University of Texas had 27 Touchdowns in one season with the Chiefs but what I really don't understand why he's not in the Pro Football Hall Of Fame it's really Criminal as to why how superb he really was & Will Shields is a recent Hall Of Famer because of Holmes but make no mistake about it cause just this sure I certainly believe Priest Holmes should not be forgotten about how special he'd was he was one of the guys like the LaDainian Tomlinson type who had made things better Mr.Holmes deserves a Gold Jacket period 16:26
Two things came to.mind watching this, one the size of runningbacks in even the early 2000s compared to the size of runningbacks today . Like ladainian Thomas ,Shaun Alexander ,Marshall faulk, and Larry Johnson vs todd gurley and Christian McCaffrey. Maybe it's just the shoulder pads getting smaller but rbs of yesterday seemed bigger. Except for Derek Henry of course haha. And for every great Hof player ladainian, emitt, faulk, and on there are players that had a great season and then never came close again. Saw a few players from 2000s I barely remembered.
