Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday (28 April) attacked the ruling Congress government in Karnataka by alleging that instead of controlling crime, it is encouraging the anti-social elements.
While speaking in Uttara Kannada, he raised the issue of Neha Hiremath's murder in Hubballi and said, "Every parent is Karnataka is concerned about one's daughter due to Congress' paap (crime)."
Modi questioned, how the criminal (Fayaz Khondunaik) got the courage to do such a crime in broad daylight on a college campus and alleged that he knew that "vote-bank hungry" people would save him.
