Insane that Parasect has never been given a hit card, ever. And it’s been around since the beginning. Venomoth has had one of these, and it’s about as popular as Parasect

My favourite Pokemon growing up was Caterpie (the anime episode where Ash catches him was one of the first I ever saw). I'm with you on loving underappreciated mons. Love your videos!

You can stack the parasect ability if it’s confused. So if you have 4 in play. They take 80 damage

Paras and parasect are such underrated little guys, I love how legends arceus gave them an intense bloodlust. I like to imagine that them and nincada have a common ancestor given their similar design inspiration

Never knew there was this much love for Parasect. I have truly been blessed.

Oh wow. I don’t play the card games but I love hyper-specific deep dives and when that very first card showed up my jaw dropped! I had that as a kid. I haven’t had such a strong hit of nostalgia like I just did in a while

Paras has a special place in my heart because it was the first Pokémon card I pulled and therefore the first in my card binder. It was also the first Pokémon I caught in Blue that I took with me to the league along my over leveled Charizard.

One neat thing about the Aquapolis Parasect is that is also has data for the Construction: Action minigame on the long dot-code! You gotta have a few different cards in order to play the game, though.

The 151's parasects Spread filaments is stronger than call for friends, it can get evolved pokemon, ie stage 2s, v-maxes, v-stars, mega evolutions, and of course most importantly, more parasects.

You are very underrated in the pokemon video space. Your videos are fantastic

I really like the bright colors of the Neo Revelations card

I collected every parasect card two years ago and continue to get whatever new ones come out. The neo genesis aquapolis one is the most painful to get ahold of.

Haven't started watching this yet but I'm starting til the end for my boi Parasect

One fun thing to note; thr 151 Parasect can get evolved Pokemon, not just basics! Can be fun because of it.

I had a soft spot for that Team Up Parasect when it was in the game. I love mushroom status decks (the sleep Breloom was my other fave) but I still have such a fondness for that specific Parasect after trying it with Butterfree.

This was my first time really checking out the card, so that sounds fun thinking of deck ideas for it

It would be interesting to build a deck using a bunch of the different versions of Parasect and Paras (presumably ignoring the normal 4 copies limit) and pit it against similar decks of other Pokemon. And I like the look of the longer beard.

Allergic Pollen on Neo Revelation Parasect is great! So many cards and decks rely on getting things back from the discard pile, and Parasect just stops their strategy.

Fair point. It really depends on who you’re against I guess.

I was gonna say that the newest Parasect is definitely not good because of powercreep but uh now that I'm reading, it doesn't say that the grass mons have to be basic or anything. Like, what, I could have a Parasect and all of a sudden I have two Meowscarada ex in my bench? I still wouldn't do it, but it looks like a fun cheater gimmick, definitely not a horrible card that only looks good when compared to the WotC cards with 20 years of hindsight; might not be viable but it has a fun trick at least. Very cool Parasect binder btw

Set 151 was a great set to relive og days. I'm working my way through the set too although I don't care for the FA cards, the Pokemon with a solid color in the background, the art and look of the cards is dumb to me so I'm passing on those. But I need 12 parallel versions, 2 ex's, 11 of the secret really rare cards like Dragonair and the Erika's.
