Hearing your line of thinking as you're going through these tracks is incredibly helpful. I've been getting a lot from your channel lately. Thank you for the great work!

Great job. Just goes to show that if you have enough talent you can make something great with almost any template, and you certainly have here.

Great way of exploring what's there. It's insane how much they pack into these collector's editions! Overwhelming is an understatement, even for veteran composers...

The last two minutes of that video were by far the most fun two minutes I've had watching any of your videos, and for reference, I think they are all great!

I might need to end each video with an interpretive dance. Whatcha think?

If there ever was a good example of the figure of speech „the sum is greater than its parts“… this is it! Well done, both on the cue itself as well as the walkthrough.

Oh man! This is why I emailed you for private lessons. You are talented in composing plus explaining things (learning) plus being such a nice person. It will happen. Thank you!

Aww yeah that sounds great, as you went through each track I was worried it was going to sound too ‘busy’ I was saying, “John, split out some of the melodies and only combine a few for each section” but of course it all came together beautifully in the full track. I needn’t have worried, you totally know what you’re doing 👍

I appreciate that, Simon. It is a bit of a mess in parts, but overall I think I made something that captures the feel I was going for.

Your process, description, and end result were fantastic and got the sub click from me. Plus I have Komplete 12 that is very very dusty and I am challenging myself to use it and learn it. This video really really helped me (except now I want 14 lol). Thanks man look forward to watching more. P

The track sounds fantastic. I've entertained the idea of spotlighting different sounds similar to the way you have. I'm going to be more experimental. Like changing to different kicks, snares, hats, bass sounds etc. Throughout the track. Why not eh? Great stuff Jon.

Nice track! Thank you for sharing this. Parts of that chord progression reminded me of Walk of Life, Dire Straits.

Love the drums and pad, but for me the track starts to sound crowded and busy... must say, the backwards piano is awesome!

Fair enough! I tried to pack in way too much. Certainly would not have done all that in real life but it was a fun challenge.

Those pesky guitar plugins are too good. I've been recording some guitars for a friend's album and trying to replicate some stuff he's done on them. I had to use capos and tune differently just to play them. The latest Kontakt comes with the Ozone mastering suite by the way, my upgrade is only slightly more than buying Ozone outright so I'll get it soon.

The upgrade paths make it all doable. Would be tricky dropping 1500 all at once.
