dude Momonosuke has the same devil fruit and he was a dragon since he ate he didnt become a fish and then awakened it to a Dragon, it was never stated that this happened to Kaido so you all say crap, all the dinos fruits are dragon dragon fruits but they were not dragons who later became dinosaurs, yamato wasnt a dog who became a wolf

The thing with Marco is, it's actually even better than logia. If you damage a logia user with haki or sea stone, he stays damaged. But Marco can heal himself to full so long as he isn't in sea stone handcuffs. (Or being held by blackbeard)

It’s not instant heal and I’m pretty sure it doesn’t work in large scale. At least not that fast. He can take a beating and probably be alright, gradually regening stuff like cuts and bruises and stuff but like I’m pretty sure broken bones and stuff like that would take a bit longer. I mean we’ve seen marco injured after fighting before like vs King and Queen

@@zackdesilva4730 when Marco is healing himself, it's instant heal so long as he has the energy. King literally cut one of his wings off in onigashima and it quickly regenerated. It's slower when he's healing others.

Eh I'd argue that Pato's devil fruit would be even better to have, because you can create things such as people to do tasks for you, objects to suit your needs, and food to survive. Of course you need Leaves for it, but it's still an indispensable DF. The Mythical version of Tanuki's can also shapeshift on par on Kitsunes, so there's that too.

People are acting like Kaido started out as a fish rather than being an actual dragon as if any fruits have ever worked like that lmao. Most likely, the answer is a lot more simple than people think: When naming Mythical Zoans, they are named after their "base" form, such as inu (dog) or hito (man). Even though Luffy's fruit is literally a god, it's called the "Hito-hito no mi". In no instance is the Zoan Fruit's "type" based on a mythical creature because they don't actually exist. In no instance has a Zoan Fruit been named after a creature that does not exist. Odds are, "fish" was chosen because out of all existing creatures, Seiryu is most similar to a fish. The type of "creature" the Zoan is is linked to the "Model", which more concretely describes what it is. Like Kaku's fruit, a Giraffe is not an ox, but it doesn't fit into any other large category, but the ox is close enough. The only exception to this rule is for the Ancient Dinosaur Zoans, which are called dragons. I think by now though, everyone knows why they are referred to as dragons.

Well we can't say it's "supposed to" since that's never been implied in the story, and, at face value, Momo debunks that theory. I think it's more likely during the void century or before Azure Dragons existed and they were just a legendary type of fish, making it no different from other DFs based on different types of the same animal

Dude glad you included the video game fruits because the Bake-danuki one is hands down my favorite. The fact you can just create literally anything is maddening on top of the physical boost if eaten by a person or another race like Mink. Just imagine if someone like an admiral or Yonko having this...and that is just the basic function! I feel like the awakening allows the user themselves to turn into anything since Tanukis in mythology are said to be master shapeshifters that rival Kitsunes.

Marco's fruit isn't acting like a Logia, meaning that damage is passing through him. Instead he's actually getting hit, it's just that the flames regenerate the wounds at an extreme rate.

Something you forgot to mention or maybe didn't know about Pato's fruit (the Inu-Inu no mi, Bake-Danuki): Patrick Redfield used its powers to create a clone of Pato with all the same powers. That means you could theoretically use that to create countless copies of him, each one capable of turning leafs into anything or anyone you want. Wealth, women, food, weapons, ships, animals, monsters, armies, god-like warriors, islands, mansions, castles, fantasy waifus, could all be at your fingertips, even if all you have is a cheap copy of Pato.

Marco DOES NOT turn into flames. In sbs vol 58 Oda literally said no he is not like ace who turnes into flame, marco's body is just covered with blue flames, his body itself is not made of flame

Yeah it only seems like he is made of flames because he is also regenearting his wounds at the same time he is getting hit (like when he was flying through the air in his full Phoenix form and it seemed like he was making the bullets phase through him but he was in reality tanking the bullets and healing right away from them)

Honestly Orochi's fruit should be a lot higher since in the myth its based the orochi had other powers besides just being a big snake. I feel it gets a bad rap just because its user is the one of the most useless characters in the series.

You gotta love the Hito-Hito no Mi: Model Daibutsu It doesn't turn you into the Buddha It turns you into a daibutsu, which is the Japanese word for large statues of the Buddha (there's a different term in Japanese for the Buddha himself) It's not the Buddha fruit, it's the Buddha statue fruit It's like if Oda wanted someone to turn into a kirin, but gave them a fruit that turns them into a kirin statue

foxes and dogs are both from the Canis family, so technically TECHNICALLY Oda was correct in putting the Nine-Tail into the Dog-Dog category XDD also the thing with the Nine-Tail is that you have to have a very VERY creative mind to make it useful. Foxes and fox spirits in Japanese myths are generally known for being tricksters and shapeshifters that use illusions and spells to mess with people for shits and giggles. knowing that, i would argue that Devon doesn't turn into other people, rather she casts an illusion over herself to appear as other people. if that's the case, then the fruit becomes MUCH more powerful as a theoretically "Perfect Illusion" has the ability to trick the human brain into believing pretty much anything. with the right application, one could (IN THEORY) cast an illusion on opponents to trick them into believing that they were shot through the heart, or missing limbs. if the illusion is strong enough (and the Nine-Tail would have the strongest illusions out of any fox spirit) then you could essentially fool an entire army into simply passing out from shock and/or paralyzing them from fear. this makes the Nine-Tail Fruit ARGUABLY A Tier, given the sheer level of versatility in illusions and misdirection. to further my theories, just go watch literally ANY magic show and watch how easily tricked humans are. and that's without supernatural powers. if a person could legitimately force the human brain to believe something was real, they could apply the Fruit's powers in MILLIONS of different ways even if their opponent already knows it's not real. most people don't believe there are monsters hiding under their beds, or down the basement stairs. but i guarantee you have at least felt a slight chill or nervous twinge when you turn off the lights, and maybe you walk up the stairs slightly faster than you usually would. that SAME type of miniscule doubt buried into the human subconscious, when fully weaponized, could become an incredibly dangerous power to fight against. i have done a LOT of research into illusions and foxes XD i might be slightly obsessed, thank you for coming to my TEDTalk

I would shift Yamato to A since a literal deity would tie it to the next deity on the list. Plus the design of it's beast form is extremely cool as well. Having an AA tier praising and working hard for your fruit is no small feat either. Being able to wear ice armour, conjure ice barriers, have increased strength and claws makes it a clear distinction from B and lower. Devon would be shifted to B purely based on potential. The rest can remain.

The Nue is a Tori Tori Model because a Nue was originally stated to be a green pheasant. Also, the Genpei Jōsuiki describes it as having a chicken's torso. It's also often said to have an eerie bird cry, resembling that of the Scaly thrush, also called a nue.

Yamato's fruit is not underrated. He's Kaido's son and spent his life training to become a warrior like Oden. That's where most of his strenght comes from, not the fruit.

Completely agree. That being said i want to say two things, let's remember that yamatos ice armor could withstand a thunder bagua in the head, and ice breath could stop kaido's alcoholic breath which evaporates mountains, just those two things would make it an S class fruit. The second thing is the nika fruit when awakened like in the actual story which is "canonly real" not just hypothetical, is so broken that it should be an AAA class above S.

Sengoku wears the bird on his head for good reason- it's iconic- The seagull is an pet/ally of the hero of the north blue (Sora) basically the most famous "superhero" of the OP world

The Yamata no Orochi probably has a lot of untapped potential. It's just that its user is probably one of the most worthless characters in the series. But if you think about it, the other two snake fruits are probably some of best regular zoan and this one takes that and multiplies it by eight. Not to forget the multiple lives and the massive form of the mythical Orochi and that fruit has the potential to be great. Hell, it wouldn't surprise me if the fruit had other unseen abilities like venomous fangs, hypnotic eyes, shedding skin for recovery, and other mythical qualities often associated with snakes. But even if it did, it would be impossible to know with such an inadequate user.
