Still here in 2024 rewatching his performances. So much talent! Concert every time❤ no matter what he sings, he gives 1000%

I just want to understand how he didn’t win either time, much less not make the finals? Probably the best vocalist on the voice I’ve ever heard.

I suppose because of poor song choice by the coaches in the late stages of the show like Wrecking Ball by Miley Cyrus or an old boring song like Heaven by Bryan Adams. Every time Matthias chooses a song, it is a fantastic performance. I was too surprised that he did not win. Total trash.

He didn't win the competition both times and that is so unfair to him but he won an audience and fans globally. He's the best I love watching his concerts he's a star

I don't understand why he didn't win. He has a unique and almost mesmerizing voice and I can't get enough of his songs. He should have an album!

I think there were obvious bad song choices that both times he didn’t get to the finals. Wrecking ball wasn’t for him, and Heaven I’ve always felt it like a downer. It’s so sad, there is no The Voice contestant that have capture my attention as him.

Leave a Light On is one of the best duets I've ever seen. How this guy is not a super star is beyond me.

It's like being at a concert...his vocals are extraordinary. I can't understand how he didn't win. The first time I heard him sing Bed of Roses completely blew me away. Every song in this clip is so damn good. That duet was stunning! ❤❤❤

It's a vote that put him down on the rating percentage that's why he loss in the battle...maybe only few Germans prefer rock songs... but Mathias has superb voice and he's a Rockstar!!!

His stage presence is amazing. He's meant to be on that stage.

Why did this guy not win on 2 seasons. Unbelievable. He is incredible and will always be my champion. I'm actually shocked. His voice range from rock n roll to high note love songs is incredible. He's so comfortable onstage, and he makes hitting them crazy notes look easy. I honestly can't believe he did not win. Travisty.

I cant believe he did not win. I was randomly watching some blind audition vid and the first time i heard his voice i was already mesmerized! This man clearly deserves a seat in the singing industry! He may not have won but he is undeniably talented and have the stage presence!

He is my favourite singer & will always be remembered. He didn't win the competition but won the listener❤️

hats off to the musicians who played whatever the judges requested. Totally underrated.

He has the voice for 80's rock ballads, the music that is powerful in the voice and soul. Although he didn't win in Germany, but he is a winner in my eyes :)

I love, love, love this young man. When he hits those notes to the Bed of roses. I get goose bumps. I've listened to it over 20 times easy Don't know how you didn't win twice. So damn unfair. You're phenominol.

He doesn't need any audition. He deserves the place to become the TOP SINGER of the world!

Matthias is sooo amazing! We come back to watch all of his songs every few months. So wish he would put out an album or 2 or 3. I’m a Grama and grew up through all of the old great rock. All of our old rockers are dying. We need a new breed. Today’s music is not even music. We need singers like Matthias to keep real rock alive. Love you, wonderful young man.
