You can hate on them - that doesn’t mean they aren’t a string and great team. It’s just that people like teams who are less expressive and are humble but still showcase great talent. I’m not a fan of Brazil because when I watch them, I feel like they think they can do no wrong.

@@DakonBlackblade2 actually, USA women team was a dark horse in 2008. Brazil, Cuba, Italy and China were the candidates to gold. In 2012 the USA women team it was the team to beat, but they lost to Brazil again in the gold medal match

@Brilha linda flor Itália pipoca muito, mas quando quer ganha, então em algum momento vai vencer mais uma copa A Alemanha era a seleção mais regular, sempre estavam brigando no top 4 de melhores, me assusta tamanha queda dos alemãs atualmente. Já a seleção brasileira parece que perdeu muito o brilho, o mais louco é que temos apresentado ótimas seleções de base, ganhado até olimpíada no futebol ou até mesmo sendo vice, mas essa base quando vai para o profissional não está se solidificando e transformando-se em grandes nomes do futebol, estão sendo apenas revelações.

Bra Female 2008: only ONE set lost (Just in finals). ALL the other matches 3x0. Amazing amazing team 💜 Fofão diva.

Brazil could have easily won at least 2 more golds. Women in Athens '04 and men in London '12 had it in the bag but choked badly!

Isto explica porque mesmo até os times não tão fortes, quando ganham do Brasil, ficam felizes pra caramba!! Mesmo quando não ganhamos nenhuma medalha, como foi com o Masculino em Tóquio e no feminino na Rio 2016, estamos sempre entre os melhores!! O Brasil é uma das melhores escolas do voleibol do mundo e os adversários respeitam isso ! Vi em duas entrevistas , depois da prata no feminino em Tóquio, uma com o Zé Roberto e outra com a Fernanda Garay, falando que todo mundo que joga contra o Brasil, no feminino ou masculino, vem pra cima jogando tudo que sabem e o que não sabem. Se assistirmos aos jogos de campeonato como Liga das Nações, Jogos Olímpicos, é verdade, porque para o adversário ganhar do Brasil é ganhar dos melhores!

Then they suddenly dissapear, they denied Russia's gold so many times, and now Russia's WT start to follow the Cuban's path when they keep loosing and falling since 2017.

Brazilians have been to every Olympic final since 2004. it's really impressive their dominancy at volleyball in the 00s

The Brazilian and Russian men's teams managed to land in a podium finish for four consecutive Olympics. Brazil (2004, 2008, 2012, 2016) and Russia (2000, 2004, 2008, 2012). Also since Atlanta 1996, Russia always grabs a spot on the top 4 of Men's Volleyball. Amazing feat from such great teams. Truly, these two countries are the powerhouses of volleyball!
