I think the craziest of the recent upsets has to be the chain reaction set off by MIBR vs 100T. MIBR winning that match allowed EG to make playoffs and upset NRG and absolutely dominate C9 to qualify for Tokyo

PRX vs Fnatic or Optic was a small upset maybe but PRX were top 4 in the previous tournament too so I wouldn't say it was a massive upset

I think Master Tokyo really have a list of upsets that could be in this list. Maybe KRÜ recent LCQ streaks could be included, that run is truly unexpected with their previous performance in mind.

this were rlly good but also you forgot the Xset vs Leviatan where even in an horrendous situation for Leviatan at a 12-11 in favor of xset to close the game, they had the spike lost at heaven of A (Heaven map also) and Leviatan managed to clutch that round and win the game.

And now eg beats nrg

I cant believe there isn't a mention of PRX as a team once in this video, that team is the team of upsets. Their Copenhagen run, especially against optic in the upper finals was an unbelievable upset. Their win against g2 and the guard at Tokyo, although I wouldn't have included in this video either were considered upsets at the time.

Nah you just don't watch APAC VCT. PRX were never underdogs, they always dominated APAC . Their victory against Optic wasn't an upset but a deserved overdue

I have a feeling both PRX & EG's runs in Masters Tokyo 2023 will make some sort of future list like this.

Impact wise, ZETA and PRX run upsetting many is amazing because both are responsible in Valorant Boom in their respective region. After Zeta run, so many Japanese started to play Valorant and you can see the passion in Tokyo (especially because Japanese has image of being bad at FPS except in APEX). PRX run has revived the dead FPS hype in SEA region.

I honestly didn’t think that was an upset. PRX were still good with their OG roster but they certainly weren’t in top form. That match between TS and PRX was 50/50 imo. But yeah, PRX subbing in something after that was certainly the game-changer for them.

i havent even watched the video yet but all imma say is KRU v SEN still gives me nightmares. i dont agree that they werent in good form cause i feel that champs was sens peak. They went toe to toe with TL who looked like the favourites in champs on 2 maps and owned them on 1. They were so unlucky to face a KRU who had a serious hand at beating Gambit. They were in a group with 2 semi finalists 1 of which who were almost able to dethrone the dominant kings

Dont know if youll count it, but PRX's recent playoff win against DRX is probably up there as an upset.
