Created in 1977, The World's Strongest Man™ has become the premier event in strength athletics. For over 30 years, the strongest men on the planet have come together in a series of unique and amazing tests of strength to determine The World's Strongest Man. The competition has travelled to stunning and varied locations such as Zambia, Iceland, Mauritius, Malaysia, Morocco, China and the USA.
For over three decades The World's Strongest Man has tested the limits of human strength, power, and endurance. The best strongmen on the planet and the most demanding challenges including Fingal's Fingers, Truck Pull, Dead Lift, Giant Farmers Walk, Plane Pull and the Atlas Stones have made the event a highlight in the TV calendar and the show a family favourite with a worldwide audience of over 220 million people.

They had to load the stones from a distance and still all athletes managed to lift at least 4 stones in a good time. One of the best collective performances ever on stones in my opinion. The average level of talent is nuts.

@@jameschristy9966 Easily said. The disciplines are obviously scaled to that level
Was rooting for Novikov this year, but seeing Tom win by 10.5 points was absolutely insane. The man could've literally sat out an event and still won. Between Tom being a beast, Novikov looking like Pudzianowski the second, Brian going for his fifth, Licis finally healthy, and Mitchell Hooper the super rookie, this was one crazy final.

I think if Novikov was taller, he would have so many more titles. Man is an absolute machine and will give everything he has to win. I love that man
I love all the positivity and encouragement these guys get to make these huge lifts. It's addicting to watch will all the videos of KZread and beyond
Imagine if Tom makes 3 in a row, Brian rips the 5th one or Kieliszkowski finally achieves the title! What ever happens, you can be sure a young moose comes to play along.

Love this version. I dig seeing the run-up like in the old WSMs. Great job by the athletes
Ngl I picked up a 125lb stone at the gym I go to and barely got it, these guys CHARGING holding DOUBLE that weight, withOUT belts.. I mean, im speechless man lmao
Nobody's talking about how insane Maxime was in this event, he was the only one who's score was actually competitive to Toms.

Don’t know, man. Back when Thor was dominating, he never really had to go for speed. The one time it really mattered, he set a world record Tom is yet to beat.
@beepyou34

@@gotzvonunentberlichingen1452 that's true. I mean, Thor is such a beast that he came in 2nd place in 2019 while injured. If he had come back to WSM in 2020 he probably would have beaten Oleksii. I'm glad he's happy with his title though. He probably doesn't wanna kill himself trying to beat Mariusz' record

I know Tom is tall, but Terry looks to be equal in height, Tom's curly hair gives him the edge. I know Terry is tall, but damn.

That’s an angle thing. It’s hard to tell how tall people are from below. Also Tom just did the atlas stones so his spine is solidly compressed.

@@theworldsstrongestman Is it an improvement on Jamie Reeve's model? Loved the Old School barrel deadlift and squat he made for WSM back in the day, just had a bad habit of getting barrels stuck and it hurt competitors time.

@@petershortland478 I think it should be more about lifting the stones. Shouldn't have to worry if the podium will tip over. Platforms have changed over the years from wooden barrels to cylinders and now these podiums. WSM as a sport is always changing and that's a good thing. If there is a better way to do things why not do it? Especially if it solves a problem, like podiums tipping or stones not staying on the stand?

@@petershortland478 I get it but I don't think balancing a stone is a test of strength. Lifting and carrying is the test. Watch Jon pall skip his stone across the barrel in the 80s. USA vs USA = HAPPY FUN
The run in looks stressful; they can't see through the giant stone. Don't think I'm a fan.
I’m the guy that puts them back up. Guys are lazy.
I don't believe how stupid the people were who designed the stones in such a way to carry them in such large distances, even the last one was a bit too far away, away enough to cause unneeded major injuries. They should have thought better.
