LiS 1 is still one the best experiences i've ever had with a game. It's soooo calming and soothing, with a melancholic evening nostalgia that playing it as a pre-teen did to me. 10/10, life was strange, before being beautiful

Its so relatable fr, as someone who has telekineses and ran away to the south with my older brother, Its almost like this game is perfect for me🥺😍

LiS2 is definitely my fav LiS game, it's so underrated. It's the saddest one, the one that left me empty for so long right after because the story is just so tragic but amazing, with Sean being doomed from the start and all the endings being bitter sweet, with no way for Sean and Daniel to escape regrets. I wish it had more recognition

I love LIS 2 so much. The story of the brothers was so impactful for me. It really leaves a void in your chest... Always running away, always worried, lost, humiliated, hunted. And when they find peace, they need to run away again... not to mention the endings, which are all tragic kk. Which ending did you get? I got the one where Sean goes to Mexico alone :( Daniel stays with his grandparents. But on the other hand, he was able to study, he had more moments with Chris, he got a new doggo and Sean stayed in Mexico with Cassidy, thank God🙏🏻 But sadly away from your little brother 😭

@tetelele2752 I got the Blood Brothers ending (the one where Sean and Daniel go to Mexico together), and I just get this ending on purpose everytime I play because it's my favorite. It's still sad but all the endings are so... To me this is the one I would've wanted in this situation, I think this one and the one you got are the two best outcomes but this is really subjective since they're all bittersweet at best :( This game keeps destroying me again and again

@cendre4605 I disagree. They're all sad and depressing. They use Daniel's Powers to steal money and survive. Daniel is under house arrest. Daniel accidentally kills Sean and lives alone. Sean goes to prison for 15 year sand comes out a mentally broken man and their relationship is tarnished.

I also saw ppl mentioning wanting a girl protagonist again which I think is part of why they ended up having a girl protag in True Colors. Rarely did I see positive or constructive criticism of LiS2 on the internet. I mostly saw negative comments. I do have a friend whose fav LiS game is LiS2

Life is Strange True Colours became my number 1 after my second playthrough, I love how we, the players got to discover Alex's past rather than having the protagonist with an already solid background like the first 2 games, the start was slower than the others but after that the plot and twists were so good, it definitely captured the mystery aspect that LiS 1 had.

I second this. Might just be biased bc of my love for the Colorado scenery in general but they executed that game beautifully. My list would for sure fall like LIS3 LIS1 LIS before the storm LIS2 But all of them were excellent so it's not even like I'm saying lis2 is bad.

The main story of True Colors lacked depth and build up like it's predecessors but on the good side, most supporting characters have their own stories and are likeable. Ryan is the one i relate to the most.

Same, in LIS1 and LIS2 each chapter was memorable for me. In LIS3, there wasn’t a lot of special moments for me to remember it by :( not to mention the lack of consequences. Would’ve been nice if there was that option of Alex ending up in prison or smth. The different endings it had weren’t too different compared to the first 2 games.

Ok this is deep encouragement to play these sequels. Havent played a LiS since Before the Storm (including farewell), which i loved. Havent played a game of this genre since Tell Me Why which made me cry uncontrollably. I think im strong enough to experience the others now that i know theyre still top tier

Finally some LiS 2 love. I kept seeing hate for it. When I finally played it…man it hit so hard as an older brother whose had to take care of my little brother alone before at 18-19. Daniel was so much like my little brother, I had tears in my eyes at the end. I related so much to Sean whose still just a teen too. They really nailed what it’s like to be a teen in a parental sibling role. They never listen when it’s important, you lash out bc of it and feel so guilty afterwards.

It sucks that a lot of people do not like the game but i can sorta agree. Every single game they've made has always had a slow chapter that wasnt interesting and they havent made a game that was "perfect". But i love the games. The original LiS brings back so much nostalgia, almost as a retro game that i played as a kid such as DKC, Megaman, castlevania, ninja gaiden..etc. the only difference is i was a mid 20’s adult when it came out 😂

I couldn't have agreed more with these games and the ratings you gave them. Tho the first game has to be the goat one for me. I'm so excited for the new game as well!

I just finished True Colors and... (SPOILER) I had a feeling that Jed might be linked to Jefferson in the way they pretend to be someone they really aren't. But for some strange reason I didn't hate him as much as Jeff, the way they deal with emotions and background in TC is amazing

Just finished the main series a few hours ago with my roommates. The only 2 I haven't played yet are before the storm farewell and wavelengths. I'm honestly really mad that I haven't heard of the game series until last year, it's such a gem of emotional highs and lows that I'm pissed that I never came across it sooner.

life is strange 2 was the best one for me i cried at like 3 different scenes

For me, best to worst: Lis 1 Lis TC Lis BTS Lis 2 (Don't come at me, super fans. I dodnt get attached to its characters, the voice acting was pretty lame and the story was lamer. I'm entitled to an opinion, so don't @ me ❤)

@@retrograde1999 i think it’s just me but i just think she’s too quirky. i love every single one of the characters in every other lis game but honestly i only liked steph in true colors, everybody seemed so… idk. they were one-note characters imo and i just cannot compare them to any of the former life is strange characters, which is where my love for the series rooted from. i’m glad so many people like it though!!

Life Is Strange is honestly one of my favorite games, love the entire franchise. Each ending had me sobbing. I still remember how emotional I was after the first one.

Agreed. I love the full series, and found myself loving LiS 2 more than the original, and True Colors even more than that.
