    It’s not only about the tuning, but also the instrument requires small and big services every now and then. Major services must be needed when the instrument is not being played frequently such as the one in the video

    @@am_Nein I have tried.. I do have good ear I believe coming from indian classical background . I do have all the necessary tuning equipments too. But it’s very tedious, and morover I believe a piano player cannot become a tuner . Since most of the time he will keep tuning and not practice 😂

    Speaking of absolute pains, I spilled dishwater on my 88 key electric piano once. I had to take it apart and clean out everything with 99.9% isopropyl 5 times before I got it to play in tune again.

    Would it be that the pivot pin has a coat of iron oxide touching the wood? If the piano was allowed to have too high of humidity inside, it affects all metals in there.

    I wish i hadn't grown up with electric pianos. I find it so hard to press keys cus their a lot heavier then electric piano keys. They should make electric pianos have accurately heavy keys. Or maybe the pianos ive played are like this one. Im still not sure :p

I can’t believe you fixed all the piano keys with a clever mind so you’ll fix the 88 keys of the piano by putting lubricant protek and to put it on each hinge points with the bottle so it’s a good easier way rather than taking out all of them.     Protek CLP is a temporary solution. After some time it will be worse than before. Only replace the center-pins is solution. Alternatively, heating the center pins.

    😂 i thought ohh it just needs some lube thats easy, then I realized thats two applications for each key not easy and an amateur with at that specific application bottle would have to take out each key or drench the entire inside posibly warping the wood with the exessive liquids

    What if the key is dead, it plays sometimes, but when I play harder, or for longer, it stops. I notice that the bottom lever is not underneath the top one as it should all the time. How does one fix this??
