They also missed Max Lord, Catherine Corbett, Oberon, Sue Dibney, and a few Justice Leads Task force members too. I would love for them to create a line of toys that go through the classic members in order of joining. Maybe even having outfit changes as they changed their look. Justice League Action Figure Line! You'd have my money! :D

Justice league could have something in common for their members. It could be a badge or a watch that serve as a comm device or teleporter or multi tasking gadget, something like that. Or they can help the average-powered with additional armour or weapon. I remember avengers at some points have uniform flying device for all their flightless member.

They forgot one Green Lantern who joined the Justice League briefly in the 1990's: Gnort (then again, I think everyone wants to forget Gnort).

ha wi Magic attacks doesn't kill him with ease though he has faced several magical beings like Black Adam, Captain Marvel and Doctor Fate and has become victorious several times plus I know a lot about Superman. He wasn't really a member. He was the League's representative before he was fired. Then he went to join the JLA.

The main seven: Superman, Batman, Wonder woman, flash, green lantern, aqua man and cyborg. The rest that joined the team later on: Martian Manhunter Green Arrow Atom Hawkman Black Canary got booted out Pretty sure Plastic Man came before elongated man Shazam joined way earlier than the people above him I'm pretty sure Doctor Fate left to joined the Justice Society Idk the rest because they only had 6 member instead of like 50

Amit Moshe Oren Don't feel bad. Some of these people didn't last long and/or didn't leave much of an impact. A few of them are more "associates" than actual members. For example: those people who were "added" in 2006 were only in one issue of 52 and disappeared. (Heck, Bulleteer didn't even DO anything)

Ditto with the rest of the Global Guardians (Little Mermaid, Seraph, Godiva, Jack O'Lantern, Olympian, Bushmaster, Impala, Tuatara, Owlwoman, Wild Huntsman and his pets, Thunderlord, Rising Sun, and Red Star). They were a fun group and all of them COULD be members of the Justice League, too.

I saw that in the lead up issue to the justice league of america series in the main Justice League book and was confused on what happened

Shazam, Doctor Fate and Captain Atom joining all at the same time in 1987 doubled the League's combined power

My top 10 DC superheroes/teams: 1. Superman (Watching his first two movies on DVD were my introduction to superheroes in general) 2. Batman 3. The Flash (Barry Allen) 4. Green Lantern (Hal Jordan) 5. The Metal Men 6. Booster Gold 7. Blue Beetle (Ted Kord) 8. Raven (Mainly the version from the Teen Titans cartoon) 9. Supergirl/Power Girl 10. Plastic Man My top 5 DC supervillains: 1. Lex Luthor 2. Scarecrow 3. The Joker 4. Gorilla Grodd 5. General Zod

Why does Orion look so weird in 1990?

Cyborg and Martian are Both my favorite members of the Justice League.

To my count we've got 30 superheroes who were in the cw tv universe who were also on the justice league.

One member who wasn't listed is The Flash, Walter West. For a time, Wally West disappeared and a new Flash appeared wearing a very dark red outfit (so dark that it looked black except when light directly fell on it). They gave us some clues about who this new Flash was: Superman, Donna Troy, and Jay Garrick immediately recognized him when he showed them his face (Superman mentioned that he looked about 10 years older). Based on that, Superman accepted him as a member of the Justice League, saying he was as qualified as anyone who had been in the League. This Flash handled things differently from Wally. He didn't play with his opponents (he put Captain Boomerang in a head-to-toe body cast by throwing his own boomerang back at him where it exploded) and operated in a no-nonsense manner. Based on the clues, one possibility was that it was actually Barry Allen. Eventually, it was revealed that he was the Wally West from an alternate timeline. In that timeline, Kobra killed his wife (Linda Park). Due to injuries he received, he used his speed to heal them which aged him 10 years in a few seconds. He changed his way of dealing with his opponents, becoming more brutal and making sure when he took an opponent down they stayed down for good. He ended up in Wally's timeline and temporarily took his place as The Flash. Eventually, he had to leave the timeline and return to his own timeline because of temporal distortions his presence was causing (small changes were starting to occur for a few seconds and then return back to the way they were).

Actually if you look at the Justice League: Generation Lost which reunited the JLI Jaime served as the replacement for Ted Kord. So Reye is a League member

The Dark weren't the real League either.

They seem to be missing at least Star Girl.Equinox,Manitou Dawn and the Jaime Reyes version of Blue Beetle.

LOL I think it's funny that until the late 80s early 90s that there weren't that many new members after the originals and then it just went crazy LOL.

Hawk, Dove, and Mr. Terrific were only members in the cartoons, not the comics. And the Spectre has been a member of the Justice Society, but not the Justice League.

Could've sworn Mr Terrific was a leaguer at some point

Green Flame and Ice Maiden? Those were their named while they were a part of the Global Guardians. When they joined the JLI, they changed them to Fire and Ice.

Martian Manhunter is the bomb.

I love when so called DC fans say Superman, Wonderwoman, and Flash are the most powerful justice league members... They need to watch this.

patrick22014 Spectre, Raven, Wonder Woman (with her sword), Phantom Stranger, Firestorm, New 52 Zatanna, Maxwell Lord, Metamorpho, and maybe Martian Manhunter (all the ones that you mentioned) probably a few more from the JL but yah basically those are the JL members that could beat him not sure if they are more powerful then superman but could beat him I might be missing out from a few though... Uhh if I were to go all DC characters though the list could reach up to at least 50

+Michael Brown Superman is a huge factor though he has some of the most impressive feats ever and definitely could defeat most of DC characters with exception of a few that transcend his physical abilities like the 5th dimensional imps, supreme beings like Lucifer or ridiculous powerful characters like Parallax or the Monitor.

Concerning The Question, it is likely that he wasn't a member because he didn't become a DC character until the mid-1980s (he was a Charlton character originally) and didn't become a formal DC character until after "Crisis On Infinite Earths." Although he and the other Charlton characters appeared on Earth-Four during "Crisis..." and made a few token appearances before that in DC Comics, they were not fully integrated into the DC Universe until a few years after "Crisis...".

Steve Trevor looks like he just walked out of a Gears of War game with that outfit.

King Bumi Lex Luthor shows up at Bruce Wayne's mansion and tells him "we have work to do". He also asks to join the JL. And hey, watcha gonna do when the guy might go off and reveal your secret identity if you refuse him? At least with Lex in the League it helps them keep better track of him... Lex is a scumbag and probably has his own schemes. But he forced the JL to let him on with a combination of public relations and implied threats.
