I love the Jurassic World trilogy is better as a trilogy than Jurassic Park was

In my opinion, it goes... 1) Jurassic Park 2) Jurassic World 3) The Lost World: Jurassic Park 4) Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom 5) Jurassic Park III 6) Jurassic World: Dominion Though both trilogies did follow a similar downward trajectory for me personally, I can still find some enjoyment in each of them.

Jurassic Park III is a great movie, I *don’t* understand people who put it in last place, it’s such a fun and entertaining movie mainly because of the spinosaurus and everything, fallen kingdom and dominion *aren’t* better at all like wtf? I’ll never understand that.

I think 'The Lost World' defenetly should go to the second place. It was a perfect sequel to Jurassic Park explaining a bit of the backstages of Isla Nublar and also a kinda meaningful thing, although it didn't tell more then Jurassic Park. It also should go there cus Jurassic World (and all the other JW movies), if you look at the story, is basicly Jurassic Park remade, but worse. There is a new park opened on a remote island full of dinosaurs. Everything seems to go alright until the dinos break out and the whole place turns into chaos which the nobody can recover. But JP happend through a storm and Nedry who sabotaged the system, but JW because of simple stupidity. And it is mainly for the effects, and not that it has a meaning, something to tell the audience. But, tbh, it's quite good for an action movie. This is just my opinion, I don't want to change or insult anybody's opinion (except if you are a little child who never saw the old ones or/and only cares about the action. If you are like that, don't even think of arguing lol)

I'm ok with the spot it got in the ranking. It's a great movie no doubt but what made Jurassic Park so appealing to me is seeing the Dinos in the modern world be it inside the park or roaming the streets of the city. That, in my opinion, is when the movies are at their best. I loved seeing all the ways they would potentially keep and feed the dinosaurs in the original movies, how they turned everything into an attraction, trying to make it as safe as possible but not understanding just how dangerous these creatures are and how much can go wrong. Seeing them hunt and fight inside of buildings, tearing down fences that's the stuff that got me to love the movie. Seeing the contrast between these insanely old creatures and the modern world. So The Lost World was instantly a bit less appealing to me since most of the movie is on a pretty much untouched island, the most you get to see of the modern world on this island is a couple of humans, cars and some supplies. The only real infrastructure is that one compound they were trying to get to we dont really get to see much of it. Again it's still a great film, it's just missing that one thing that really makes it a Jurassic Park movie to me.

​@@pigwhaleg Jurassic Park has probably the most well crafted and tense scenes for the rex and the raptors, everything else is blah, Ian Malcom is obviously the best character in the movie and his dialogue almost carried it all the way with Hammond being his foil, or reason to speak up. There's some other well written lines from other characters like Dennis, Rob, and Ray. There's also some wild errors in the movie bringing it down only to a solid 9/10. The lost world is pretty amazing, it fixed the action variety issue of the original with a healthy variety of dinosaurs getting huge moments. The dialogue in the movie is almost as entertaining as it was in the original, more humorous I would say though. The last act of the movie is kind of where it was sort of experimental for the director and it wasn't great, but luckily it worked out better than you would have thought, I'm puzzled a bit as to why most of the cast jumped off at the last act, narratively I understand, but it still feels off that it happened. Overall though I think TLW is pretty equal, maybe slightly less if anything.

​@@Jurassicfs3 Dude The Lost World is a legit Jurassic Park sequel with dinosaurs in the wild instead of a park. It still has Steven Spielberg, John Williams, it the tense atmosphere, the mind blowing Stan Winston animatronics, great dinosaur designs, it takes its time just like the first one... Maybe it is not as great as the first one but it has elements of art. What you get with the sequel trilogy is cheap Marvel Avenger cinema. Look at Jurassic World and The Lost World and tell me which T Rex looks better despite the 20 year difference. I'll wait.

God, please never let this man rate movies again (Btw this is a joke)

My mother called me in to school sick so she could take me to the original Jurassic Park release back in the 90s. That movie is definitely #1 on the list because it still holds up to this day. JP2 wasn't as good as the original. The plot felt more rushed than anything, but you can definitely tell the budget was way bigger. I enjoyed JP3 more because the story was paced better and it introduced a lot more dinosaurs, but both JP2+JP3 just assumed you wanted to see more dinosaurs so they just loaded up the screen. JP1 better paced the introduction of the dinosaurs which made the scenes memorable. Jurassic World was better than JP2+JP3 imho so it can rank up as #2. Jurassic World Dominion was awful though.

*STOP* PUTTING JURASSIC PARK 3 IN LAST PLACE

How I'd rank them: 6. Jurassic World: Dominion Major snore fest with a lot of annoying plot threads and characters. Also none of the characters ever feel in any real danger. The dread of coming across say the Tyrannosaurus or Velociraptors is completely gone. 5. Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom First half was great, but after they get off the island it goes down hill fast. Honestly just really dislike the Indoraptor. 4. Jurassic World Easily the best of the Jurassic World trilogy, but still not as good as any of the movies in the Jurassic Park trilogy. It mainly just felt like a rehash of the first, but without any of the charm or likeable characters. 3. Jurassic Park /// Great little adventure in the Jurassic Park universe. At an hour and a half it delivers exactly what we want. Great dino effects and action. Also the Velociraptors have always felt the most terrifying in this one. 2. The Lost World: Jurassic Park One of the most underrated sequels, dare I even say movies of all time. In my opinion this a perfect sequel to Jurassic Park. It built on the world instead of just rehashing the first movie. 1. Jurassic Park Well duh.

Once again here, I truly DON'T seem to get the total hatred towards JP3, I also think it’s an AMAZING and WONDERFUL movie. I loved all of its scenes with the Spinosaurus, all the sequences with the Spinosaurus are AMAZING, I just love it. Plus, I believe it was a good chance for the franchise to introduce us to a new dinosaur especially as an antagonist. Let alone though, it is NOT the "WORST" movie in the entire franchise as many claim for it to be, it’s just AWESOME and I just totally DON’T understand those who say it’s the "WORST" because it is certainly NOT. I loved it and enjoyed it a lot just like its AMAZING action scenes with the Spinosaurus which definitely make it a lot more enjoyable

My ranking/ Best to Worst: 1. JURASSIC PARK - 10/10 Best jurassic movie. 2. THE LOST WORLD: JURASSIC PARK - 9.7/10 Best sequel in the franshise but still has its problems. It also introduces new lore and expands Ian Malcoms character like Alan Grant in jp3. 3. JURASSIC PARK 3 - 9.5/10 The plot isn't the best but it's something that could happen and did. The dialogue isn't bad. The only bad scenes are the talking raptor and the end with the guy on the beach. It had amazing action scenes. The spino vs rex fight isn't bad, it shows us the power of the spinosaurus especially since its genetically modified. A rex wouldn't stand a chance. It introduced the Spinosaurus and other dinosaurs. It expanded the lore from The Lost World. This movie actually feels like a jurassic movie like the last two. 4. JURASSIC WORLD - 7/10 It's exactly the same as jurassic park, a guy releases dino(s) that kill people in a dinosaur theme park. That guy gets eaten by the/a dinosaur he released. There's 2 kids. Both get attacked by the big bad in a tour vehicle. Other then that it's good except it doesn't feel like a jurassic movie and the velociraptors arnt scary. The idea of militarizing them is also stupid. 5. JURASSIC WORLD: FALLEN KINGDOM - 5.5/10 It's a good sequel to Jurassic World and has memorable scenes, but it doesn't hint at the volcano erupting and isnt even mentioned in the other 4 movies before it. We've never heard of lockwood before either. The movie has some suspenseful scenes and actually feels like a character could die. We get Ian Malcom cameos too. The laser thing is kinda stupid. Maisie releases dinosaurs into the world and causes 37 deaths but no one cares cuz she's "alive like them". 6. JURASSIC WORLD: DOMINION - 0.5/10 They didnt even try to make a jurassic movie. They made the most random bs instead. That being bugs. This movie sets aside the dinosaurs to make room for bugs to be the main problem even though this is supposed to be a dinosaur movie. The music isn't memorable. The action scenes are sloppy. It's missing so much. The animatronics are the worst I've ever seen in any movie. There's too many main characters, (8 if you include Kayla and Ramsay). Dr. Grant is usless. They killed off the most important character... Alans Hat. The plot is all over the place and hard to keep track of. They introduce dinosaurs and characters then forget about them for the rest of the movie. There's no suspense, You know none of the characters are gonna die. The giga had more then enough chances to kill the characters. When we see it approach all the main characters, it just stands there and stares at them, I thought it was an apex predator. The giga isn't even the big bad. This was supposed to be the conclusion to the franshise but it doesn't even conclude anything. They reused the laser thing and the hand thing which I thought was supposed to only work on Blue who barely has any screen time. Some dialogue is bad. Some scenes are cheesy and cringe. They completely changed Maisies back story without hinting at it before, even if it was in the beginning of the movie. Owen has super strength. This movie has stupid coincidences. It doesn't even conclude its own story it created instead of continuing from fallen kingdom. It literally ends with the same problem it begins with.

As of yet, I haven't seen #JurassicWorldDominion, so I can't rank it. But, I *HAVE* seen the other five films in the franchise. I'll rank them from favorite to least favorite. But, keep in mind that my "least favorite" in this franchise is better than many other movies (outside of the franchise) that I have seen, before or since. Okay, here we go. 1. #JurassicPark (1993) 2. #JurassicWorldFallenKingdom (2018) 3. #JurassicWorld (2015) 4. #TheLostWorldJurassicPark (1997) 5. #JurassicParkIII (2001) Again, Jurassic Park III (my least favorite) is better than many other movies I've seen, before or since. Just because it's my least favorite does *NOT* mean that I hate it. Not by a long shot. I just like the other four films more than it. That's all.

I remember everyone in the theater laughing at the now notorious deus ex machina at the end of Jurassic Park where the T-rex shows up out of nowhere to save our hero's.

In my opinion, Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom deserves more love, and I personally rank Jurassic World higher than Jurassic park. (Also my favorite dinosaur the Indoraptor is in Fallen Kingdom so I love it a lot more

I’d say 1. Jurassic Park 2. Jurassic World 3. Jurassic Park the lost world and Jurassic World Dominion 4. Jurassic Park 3 5. Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom

Y’all are so stupid ranking Jurassic park 3 at the bottom. It’s a easily a B+

Very unpopular opinion, but I thought Jurassic Park III was a solid movie and better than The Lost World, which was still great but the whole San Diego thing has always been such a ridiculous stretch to me. I still need to watch the second and third Jurassic World films, but I remember seeing the first one and not being super in love with it, preferring the first three JP films.

People really get on my nerves with the hatred of the San Diego scene. Since when did people become so boring and whiny? It was fun seeing the Rex stomp the streets of San Diego. I always wanted to see them get off the island.

Ik im late seeing this but id say its a pretty neat list. However, i disagree about what you said about claire. I like her alot better now than before, i honestly thought she was quite annoying in jw 2015, and i prefer owen. I respect ur opinion though. Claire still isnt as annoying as amanda from jp3 2001

How can you say JW dominion is number 3. You don’t understand anything about cinema. It’s so freaking bad. I liked the first two, but dominion is literally the worst movie of the entire franchise. It’s not a movie.

The list would be perfect imo if u moved jpiii above dominion. 6. The lost world. Really boring imo. Only jurassic park movie that i stopped halfway and didnt finish until like a month later. 5. Fallen kingdom. Had really good action, the script was just awful crap, and there couldve been a better way to lead off to dominion than masie letting the dinosaurs go 4. Dominion. It has a lot of problems, but it was really good when it was good 3. Jurassic park iii. It was fun. I didnt care for it too much, i just had fun watching it. 2. Jurassic world. Aka one of the two movies where children were needed for the plot. It was cool to see new ideas put in like a hybrid dinosaur, and a park open to the public. 1. Jurassic park. I dont need to explain why this is number 1, do i?

1. Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous: Best of the all. 2. Jurassic World 1: Best of the best Movie. 3. Jurassic Park: The Lost World. 4. Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. 5. Jurassic World: Dominion. I will not call it worst, i did love the Giganotosaurus and the Therizinosaurus and the Quetzalcoatlus. I love new Dino. 6. Jurassic Park 3. I will not call it worst, I did love the Spinosaurus. 7. Jurassic Park 1. I will not call it worst, i love Dino Movies. if this movie was never maked, then mabye no Jurassic Movie would exist. Of course the original is the best. J2 very good as well, definitely worthy. J3 pretty terrible, horrible casting, what were they thinking?! The newest trilogy had some moments but mostly just CGI crap.
