Forget how good he was for us, had an abundance of strength and power, but also had immense technical ability too, underrated from that era, but should have achieved more for his talents

Good times when football seemed more real and close up. The atmosphere was incredible. Hartson was brilliant and played well off bergovic. Nothing really like what it is now sadly.

Consider that he bag in some good goals at West ham before moving to celtic. He had an accomplished career with both clubs.

Hartson was always lethal inside the box and always on the right place at the right time to put in a clinical shot. He was basically a "fox in the box".

I loved big bad John have never been so excited about a Celtic signing to this day cos you just knew what he was all about. Hold up play,link up play, technical ability shooting ability heading ability he had it all. If he wasn't injured for the Uefa Cup Final v Porto we would have won that final

That isn't even close. Bobby Moore, for his contributions both to club and country and to football in general as well. Di Canio was great too, but a cult icon in the grand scheme of things

Plenty against Spurs. Shame he lost his way.

Great player but based on this video most of his goals looked easy to score

Got to be in the right place to score an easy goal. How often do we see those types of goals now? None of our players seem to ever get in the box when we attack.
