I’m glad you didn’t put Kuuga at the top just for being the first. I do agree there are other series that build off of what Kuuga did and became better

"Mixed bag time" 😆 I love it. I'm surprised Zero-One is dead last, it's probably one of my top choices tbh! Obviously Covid threw the biggest wrench in its production and rushed final product, but I like what they were able to do with the time they had. Unfortunately that "company contest" thing went on far too long, that def hurt pacing a lot. Each rider gets a pretty deep arc and I love that Vulcan got the all-animal final form instead of Zero-One, that was a fun twist! I would probably put Zi-O as my least favorite, with Ghost just behind it. My personal top spot has to go to Gaim too. I haven't been that emotionally invested in a Toku series since Gaim itself was airing weekly. Gaim was my first introduction to the concept of Rider wars, as I'd only seen the primary/secondary rider formula before it with OOO, Fourze and Wizard. Another one that gives surprising depth to each rider and shakes up the formula with the first episode and doesn't stop moving until its over. OOO and Drive are up there too, OOO's is aesthically my favorite Rider, and Drive's soundtrack slapped WAY more than it needed to. The Drive OP alone is a banger... There's still a few early Rider shows I haven't seen yet like Hibiki and Agito, I couldn't do a full ranking, but here's my top/bottom three! Top three: Gaim, OOO, Drive Last three: Zi-O, Ghost, Wizard I do love Dan Kuroto, I don't know why... 😆 But I also love the PR 2017 movie for the same reasoning! They should look towards that for reboot inspiration.

Among the shows I watched so far: 1. Build (my first KR season, not counting Saban's Masked Rider) 2. Geats 3. Zero-One 4. Revice (I may move this up) 5. Dragon Knight (I only saw the first 2 episodes of Ryuki so far but I'll include its American counterpart that I watched entirely) 6. Saber I also watched the 1st two episodes of Zi-O for the Build tribute and to notspoil myself on previous riders so I won't include Zi-O on my list for now, but I am aware it is a disappointing anniversary season. Also only seen Saban's Masked Rider, which technically could be my first but I only saw 3 episodes while marathoning MMPR Season 3), so I won't include it on the list but if I were to complete it, I am predicting it will be at trash bottom. Likewise, it's also not fair to put Gotchard on my list either but going by the episodes we have so far, maybe below Saber

surprising put Agito having a high ranking especially the way they bring the riders back as a new gimmick for a toy like with Agito having a Vistamp as the Triceratops from Revice and different other looks from other shows i like the look of it when it became two dual wielding blade guns for Kamen Rider Jeanne i would of loved to see what Revi would of looked like having a Ticeratops form same with Ghost as a Rhino makes sense having Ghost as a Rhino since his helmet has a horn like the animal same with Agito the two triceratops horns on top like the crest and the center for the third one makes sense to me also i like Saber makes it feel like Magiranger vibe to it with Fairy Tails along with Myths and legends like a really good reference to Saber’s friend like Espada riding a magic carpet just like Hikaru of Magiranger does i love it

I'm just so put off by how every season before Kiva is shot that I fear it will just ruin my enjoyment. Fourze is a series I would recommend to people who haven't seen Rider before simply because of the setting while also jogging up people in the first episode-although the seniors overstay their welcome and the new kids are kind of a waste

Wasn’t fourze was like revice where anniversary aspect was going to be in play, but cancel at final stage being 40th and 50th anniversary. Meanwhile, zio was suppose to be a better decade, but drop the ball. They nearly gotten all the main actors which was a huge improvement over decade when fans wasn’t disappointed nearly every rider got recast and decade and kuuga actor say he was bashed for beating their favorite rider in suit. It’s the letdown that destroy zio. It would be interesting if there were less returning riders, but more role for those that return in a recurring fashion that isn’t typical decade passing by being illusive and mysterious.

Will there ever be an updated version of this that includes the Showa Era Riders as well?

I haven't watched ooo,kuuga,agito,faiz,den-o and wizard... My rankings from the series I've watched are: 1. Build - Nothing can top this for me!! I mean i was so invested in this one and also this was my favourite rider show ❤️ the plot,suits.. they were awesome 💗 2. Fourze - Well... I love back to basics type series and this was right on that bucket!! I loved all the characters especially since my fav was ryuusei.. a.k.a kamen rider meteor.. 3. Ex-aid - The first game concept rider series!! I loved it!! Chronos has to be my favourite design out of all!! 4. Gaim - Now gaim was just unpredictable lol 🤣 dance teams rivaling each other and it ends up really dark 😂😂 5. Blade - First few episodes weren't my vibe but as it went on it just went crazy and I was invested a lot!! 6. Kiva - This was really a cool one!! Felt bad for yuuri though 🥺 7. Geats/Revice - both come here because they don't deserve to be put more down lol 🤣 8. Zero-one/drive/w - same for these two❤️ 9. Kabuto - the story was confusing lol 🤣 10. Saber/decade/ghost - saber had potential but too many characters.. , decade was not that good, ghost had a good arc with alain but rest of the story was confusing again...

I thought Black Sun was fine until like 3 episodes until the end, and then I started to actively hate the show. Amazons Season 1 is wonderful but I felt the same way about season 2. Good vid!

Deno started the pointless guest of the week plot. People in Japan really love black 1988, but not X-men like black sun remake. However, they do love Amazon on Amazon. The ai robot and mutant vs human hatred mirroring real world don’t do as well given how real or how deceptive it become. Also, with all those heisei phase 1 with open and somber ending they kind of match it except they went over with violence like recent main rider specials. Decade also got in trouble with the broadcast organization for filming a fake movie teaser for its ending.

Contradict old list? Build and agito maybe blade are some that can be introduce to random non toku fans of a bigger stage given its history. Inoue really drop the quality in donbrothers especially in deliberately not answering or focus on lore.

My jaw drop when the last place is zero one.. hahahaha i will say some parts are repetitive.. but great story.. the cast is really good.

Build, Revice and W are my top 3.

You either hate Dan Kuruto or love Dan Kuruto, not in between

Dan kuroto is a character I both love and hate if that makes sense. Yeah his over the top personality can be way to much at times but sometimes it can be funny. Also I will say he's a character that I'll always remember whether for good or bad.

I guess that's a fair request, but Dosm makes review videos and he kinda has to talk about major plot points to review or rank something, that way it's not based on aesthetics or face value alone. If it was intentionally made to be spoiler-free, he'd probably put something in the video title or disclaimer up front.

The only thing i hate about Zero One is MC,. His joke is not funny (and purposefully so), so keep having repeating unfunny joker over and over again, that just a torture for me..tbh, having someone like Kumon Kaito as Zero One would be make more sense..rather than that unfunny goofball..😂
