@A Kon got you, im not saying that tap ins are easy, especially if you play against solid epl defenders but i feel like Haaland is being hyped up too much. I mean it's understandble to praise Mbappe or Vinisious for example, cuz these players can create goals out of nothing with their dribbing or longshots, but Erling always needs a good pass to make smth happen.

Theres a reason why jesus didnt have numbers like this. Hes acrobatic and his positioning is unreal too. But mostly the assist is better than the goal can be said for most of his goals

Bro, to say he is overhyped you must have someone in comparison, right? No one comes close to his scoring at the moment. But I agree that he just disappears in some important matches. So does every other striker. Now you might say, he is surrounded by the best group of players. So was Aguero. He had even better team around "centurions". Didnt score as much as Haaland. You can individually point out some of his weaknesses like link up play etc.. but some strong points of his just shadows it.

As I've said, he will never be better than Messi and Ronaldo unless he brings something else to the table than just goals. Doesn't matter how many goals he will score, since, as much as his number of goals is outstanding, most of these are not impressive ones. What differentiates him from Messi and Ronaldo is that yes, he's an incredible finisher, but the fact that he can't pass or dribble like they could, especially Messi, will never make him greater unless he improves in these two domains. (I'm saying this bc some ppl compare and say he will be better)

You're right bro. I think haaland is capable of improving but because of pep's tactics he's not really allowed to do more and even if he does... i dont think anyone could reach messi or ronaldo especially messi... maybe mbappe is the closest one cuz of his dribbling and playmaking skills but no. I really wanna see haaland improving these tho it would be incredible. He's capable of everything except dribbling and ball control so he gotta work on that. Edit: Also i hate seeing people calling him a tapin merchant. This guy was a beast in dortmund everyone judges without watching. He used to do more than just goals but again its pep now...

Ronaldo is a high volume goalscorer he sacrifices accuracy for more chances of goals while Messi looks for better accuracy but makes sacrifices in his quantity of shots. They have a different approch but both methods worked out for them👍. Ronaldo actually has one of his highest shot accuracy seasons at man united (his second time there) because he got less passes to be able to shoot.
