IV will be my No.1 forever coz it was a different animal alltogether. No Other GTA matches its dark vibe. Amazing story and still the best Character Arc of all GTA Protagonists. Also There is no happy end for Niko. He suffers in both the endings..

Los Santos San fierro Las Ventura the badlands the mountains and the deserts you had so many freeways and bridges the San Andreas map was great so many locations and each location was unique los Santos was the hood but also had nice neighborhoods.San fierro had trolley cars and many bridges Las Venturas had casinos the badlands had farmhouses where you see tractors and mostly pickup trucks and the Desert was flight school where you learn how to fly.Each city or era was unique that is set apart from the other.San Andreas Map was great🙂

It's number 2 for me. GTA 4 is infinitely better but even though 4 lacked cinematic missions, it was better than shooting identical NPCs in San Andreas

Say what you will but San Andreas is the goat simply for the culture. But tbh all gtas are strong icons that have ruled the gaming landscape especially the 3d and hd ones.

Vice City is my favorite game ever the soundtrack the map the vibes and it leaves you with an aftertaste of nostalgia 😢

Sanandreas tops the franchise in every regard, it's the pinnacle of gta.

We would love to see a gta game that had a 3d version of gta 1,and on the ps1 making an important comeback in gaming history

San Andreas had my favourite interaction with the character and the world but overall GTA IV is my favourite for story, characters, atmosphere, location, DLCs and rainy drives in a Vigero with JNR channel playing

Chinatown Wars is set in the HD era not the 3D era. It came out in 2009 and is set after GTA 4 but before GTA 5

Nostalgia wise GTA Vice City is my No.1, but GTA 4 is really the best one. Story wise, mods wise, realism wise and Niko is one great protagonist.

I’m sorry. But IV as a whole (with both DLCs) is the best one. And Niko is the greatest Rockstar protagonist (not including John Maston and Arthur Morgan).
