For anyone who wonders why shuhua has the least lines: One: Soyeon (the leader) lets the members choose their lines two: Shuhua is from taiwan, hence not korean by birth. As the group debuted, she used to get hate for her korean pronounciation which (I believe) made her insecure so She, herself asked for fewer lines. You can see as the video progresses, her lines increase from like 8 secs to 25 and more. thats because as she's probably taking lessons for her prounciation, she's probably getting better but not good enough for her own standard or smth. And anyone who says soyeon doesn't give her members enough lines, like I said, they themselves don't choose many and its their choice. they dont have to have the most lines to shine. for example people pointed out how in queencard and superlady, all the members shined so well despite some having fewer lines.

Probably she had more troubles while learning korean. In songs recording videos sometimes you can see her having some difficulties pronunciating some words. Nothing to worry about anyway, she gained way more confidence nowdays.

@@quaisont Minnie learned korean pretty well very early, took her about 6 months. She handles the pronounciation pretty well so I have never heard of a problem with minnie about this. Yuqi is known to have good language skills, she knows chinese, korean and japanese and she learnt korean in her early childhood hence she also didnt have as much as prblm as shuhua did. So Imma guess, it was mostly shuhua. in one of their lives I think, after performing at a stage, shuhua was found crying because she mispronounced one korean word and she was scared it would cause some backlash to her group. Nowadays, her confidence with korean is way better than before but ig not her best!

Soojin always had very good lines. It's rare she was in the bottom 3 which mostly were Miyeon, Yuqi and Shuhua. Ever Soojin left, Yuqi got so many lines. (Her producing songs helped a lot)

Since (G)IDLE is a self produced group with the leader Soyeon being the songwriter for most of the tracks, Shuhua actually tells Soyeon she wants less lines since she isn't 100% confident with her pronunciation in Korean.
