Thank you for the analytical video on Dior Sauvage. I think it's important to point out that this fragrance is worlds apart from Eau Sauvage which I think is still the original and best. Have you tried it and what do you think of it?

IMO the EDP is #1. A smoother, refined version of the EDT -- The EDT is too harsh and peppery after the opening.. In the event that someone smells you up close, it and come across like bug spray. The Parfum smells amazing, but doesn't perform. The Elixir is not mass appealing imo.

I love how you give feedbacks. To think that perfumes are really hard to describe especially on review vlogs. Well done to you! We could really smell them from the other side. All the best to your channel! Love from New Zealand 💕

Would love to see a video with multiple different fragrances in one? Maybe including ysl y, bleu de chanel, acqua di gio etc. Watching this video was a pleasure, as always! Keep up the great work

Thanks for another amazing video So far i must say my favourite fragrances are Dior Sauvage EDT, Boss Bottled Intense and Armani Stronger With You but the Sauvage EDT really is my scent and style. Like an exciting and wild adventure with some mystery to it.

Totally agree the Elixir is amazing in my opinion. It’s what it should have been originally. I totally love it.

Hi Robin, love your videos particularly on hair care, could I ask you a question? "is it wise to use multiple brands of hair care brands, Eg " A pre-wash hair mask on Brand A, Cleansing Shampoo on Brand B, Hair Tonic on Brand C ". All the three brands mentioned have a great reputation to treat hair thinning concerns. Currently, I am doing it due to budget concerns, however I notice my scalp condition does show signs of improvement. From a long term perspective what is your opinion?

I’ve used them all as well. I started with the EDT and it’s so clean and fresh, it’ll always be towards the top of my list. EDP falls right behind the EDT for me, and Parfum lags behind. However, the Elixir is incredible. It’s so sophisticated and complex of a fragrance. A perfect blend of spice and woody notes, complimented by the sweetness of grapefruit. It’s a perfect winter fragrance for me. To me it comes off as a more robust and complex version of Drakkar Noir.

Your ranking Robin is the same for me. I definitely prefer the original Sauvage of the edt over the previously released flankers, but by FAR after smelling Elixir it’s easily the best out of the whole line

I bought the elixir it’s the only sauvage I own and I love it , powerful and long lasting suits a more mature man in my opinion

I love wearing the original Sauvage, however it’s way too common now. Do you recommend the Elixir as an alternative to stand out but still have that Sauvage scent?

edt is fresh and versatile, elixir is quite heavier and spicier.

For dating that is more intimate, would parfum seems better choice? Watching movies, watching stars together, etc..

I’ve loved Sauvage back then but I’ve had experience with smelling this on so many men nowadays and I’m over it. Plus it just doesn’t work with some men and it ends up smelling awkward 😑 i just wish more people would try scents and perfumes on their skin and not just rely on paper tests so they can get an idea how their body chemistry mixes with it

I love the NEW one. Just wish the price was more reasonable. I've always been a fan of the EDT, but WOW this NEW one is in a class of its own. I enjoy the opening of the spices. The Elixer is definitely at the top of my Sauvage list. If that price would come down say to at least £80 I could buy it on a regular basis. David

Hi I'm 24 and after a new fragrance to try I currently only have a couple off cheap ones that I using what I find alright davidoff horizon and sometimes adventure but would like something better am after something that would be fine to use all year round but with beast mode performance like 12 hour on skin I have tried dolice and gabbana the one in the past I liked it it but perfomance was rubbish I'm not very keen on Davidoff cool water and also not to keen on 1 million evan tho it's very popular any recommendations

I’ve not been a fan of the Sauvage line, finding them a bit scratchy and synthetic. I was really hopeful that the Elixir would change my views but unfortunately it’s too heavy for my tastes, ending up with a burnt treacle vibe, just as synthetic as it’s predecessors. I can’t fault it’s quality though and I respect and applaud the change in direction. Great video Robin!

Hey Tom, love this run-down. Certainly a very synthetic element to the fragrances. They have just been masters of really selling the stuff. It’s been great that it’s got so many into fragrances.

I tried everything at the airport and went with Sauvage Parfum (as I figured the scent will last best) I fell in love with it straight away. I researched it after and watched the video. It’s an amazing scent: v woody, quite spicy, pretty sweet. Only bad thing I could say is it smells a tad generic

It’s a good launch

Recently bought Parfume after trying both EDT and EDP. I am loving the Parfum version. I got a sample of Elixir. I am not a fan of Cinnamon scents. So no Elixir for me. Parfum is the one I will use from now on.

@@mikearkous8379 Yes it lasts over 10 hours if sprayed properly. I spray it in the morning and my friends can smell it on me after 8+ hours. It smells amazing and you can't go wrong

I do like the orange in Parfum compared to the bergamot. I also find the Parfum to be smoother with the sandalwood and is rounded compared to the others.

I'll never forget the time you lost it after saying "juicy opening"! 😂 Good video Robin, but what about Sauvage Very Cool Spray? I have tried the EDT, EDP and Parfum, and think the Parfum is the best. Still not really my thing though (too generic in my opinion)

I actually never really fancied any of the sauvage fragrances until I smelled Elixir. Mature is the perfect word, and I think it’ll be ideal for winter. There’s something cozy about it.

Can you do Bleu De Chanel next? 💙

Elixir got me many compliments. Even with mask. But it’s too sweet for me. I just got a complimentary 7.5ml from buying sauvage edp. But i still prefer the edt.

I have the parfum 200 ml it smells good

I thought these were the samw smell profile with different potentcy levels

Only one spray and you're set, it smells different in summer than it does in winter, remember that.

parfum is easily the best and longest lasting one for the amount of fragrance. everyone goes crazy smelling and a great jacket scent for a spiffy man

I love EDT.

Elixir is the crown jewel.

Sauvage EDP was my go to for a while. Then I discovered more fragrances and realized that Sauvage's formula is a locker room scent in a pricy bottle.

I love these ranges! I used to use Aqua di gio and recently swit he's the the Dior range. I think my favourite is the new elixir, but it's nkt one I'd use for everyday use. Thats either the Original or the EDP. My order is 1. Elixir 2. EDP 2. Original 4. Parfum

I don’t remember which one I took a whiff of the other day but it smelled really nice and then I find this video and see the comments… why are so many men butt hurt because the line gained popularity and now they speak badly over it for this exact reason? Geez I can’t believe y’all crying over not being special. Ifyou want to be unique so bad, go make your own scent. What a strange, childish and self-centered mentality.

Thanks for the time on this. You lost me when you put EDP in 4th spot. Not to find the EDP 'that different' from EDT seems somewhat strange. The Parfum was just a massive fail for CD.

I like the Sauvage Parfum better than the EDT. That being said, Elixir stands alone on top.

If anyone wants the opinion of a real collector who has been collecting fragrances for over 10 years, skip ALL Suavage unless you go with the classic Eau Suavage which is completely different and better. Suavage and the flankers are all trash, synthetic junk.
