I also feel this. I feel like diff positions should run them diff. Corners should start backwards then turn around. WRs should get off the jam first & then run. Dlineman should get thru the pass rush & then run. QBs & lineman are the only ones who should run straight.

Wiggins must've ran track & field because his form was near-perfect. Kept his head down, running on his toes, no heel-striking, and pumped his arms. Also, running on a track vs running on turf makes a big difference, hope he's alright.

one things for certain: people look into the 40 yard dash too much and think instantly they’re gonna be a star. the actual drills that take place matter most. they’re a DB for a reason, because they couldn’t catch to become a WR. it’s like when Saban moved Trevon Diggs from WR to DB and got a lot of backlash for it. now look. gonna be a star for the Cowboys

Caleb with the medical and Marvin with the no media interviews let's you know these are different specimens. I'd like the option in NCAA 25 or Madden 25 to choose what we can do after final college game: bowl games, senior bowl, East west shrine bowl. A) Soccer doesn't have a draft where teams can pick anyone available B) If they did, they would also have a combine style event. Every single sport that drafts players does. C) They have to have a combine because there is NOT enough time for every player to meet with and work out for every team individually. D) The combine isn't just the 40 yard dash. It's football drills, medical checks, and interviews with teams. Teams are gonna spend a lot of money and resources on these guys. This is the opportunity for them to match their speed, explosiveness, and power up with the players game film. Because these players all come from different levels of football against different opponents, there is no possible way to do 1-1 comparisons without workouts and interviews like these. This is the easiest way to get as many players to be seen by, and talk to, every team in the NFL.
