Problem is that aggro Sonic is too punishable. He takes huge risk to get low rewards. If you try a Sonic combo and the person knows how to escape it, you can die really early for trying to get it

I don’t think it’s people not being bothered - it’s just that campy sonic is just more consistent and optimal (especially online with lowered reaction times) like Sonix (top sonic player) has done insane combos before and showed that he can but plays lame in many instances because it works better in most scenarios

Honestly I’m just really happy that they buffed ness Because now I can lose more friends!

Nintendo buffed both ness and Pikachu. It's perfect for the Halloween season because that is incredibly scary.

I love how well edited your videos are. The music is so perfectly timed with what's on screen. *Nice work.* Also, I honestly wouldn't mind seeing you use Sonic more. He's really fun to watch when he's _actually_ *running around at the speed of sound* and not spindashing in place. Lol

That's why it is important to read the patch notes, so the buffs or nerfs on certain moves or aspects of your mains may depend on wheter you have to change or improve your playstyle or not.

That keeps the spirit of "He's not an air fighter" but really makes that whole branch of moves infinitely more viable as they could be used as combo extends and breakers

I think sakurai made nes stronger because he is the original most secret character and he’s the original TRICK character, he really likes ness and wanted him to be as strong as some of the newer fighters like min min and byleth... ice climbers got a much needed buff

A good Ness buff would be making PK Thunder automatically curve and boost you up when you aren't on land, and when you are on land that's when you can control PK Thunder

@@catpip_ That’s very true I almost never used PK Flash even with the buff it still comes out a little slow....I’ve been learning to play Ness recently (this is my first time getting into Smash....). I’m actually legally blind...(I’ve had about 23 eye surgeries when I was younger and I wear glasses but I don’t have a lot of vision...). But I’ve been trying to play a hype Ness! 😊. It’s tough when I can’t always see the screen but yesterday I posted my first Ness montage as a blind gamer. Check it out and let me know what you think. The last kill in my montage I used PK Flash but I definitely think that’s one of Ness’s worst moves for sure.

Ness buffs aren't major though. And sonic needed the up air fix,so I say a win to win.

People were annoyed that people spammed certain moves, so they buffed his other moves

Ness’s up tilt is actually really good. It has decent combo potential and its quite stronk
