How can you have missed Tatiana Romanova as played by the gorgeous Daniella Bianchi in the best Bond movie, From Russia With Love? She deserves to be on the list. She, Diana Rigg and Carole Bouquet are my favourite Bond girls.

Eva Green's death at the end was heartwrenching. Ursula Andress and Honor Blackman, who got the series up and running, are the obvious top choices. But my favorites were Isabella Scorupco, the first Bond with Pierce Brosnan, and Barbara Bach, who forgives James for murdering her husband. (Carly Simon's theme song is the best ever.) Jill St.John is severely underrated.

How do you murder someone who is shooting at you? This is the whole crux of the wonderful subplot of Bond killing her husband. Jill St. John is indeed underrated. She was the tough girl giving back as good as it gets long before Pierce came along and the franchise decided a bond girl was going to be an action hero most of the time to stay current. It was a crime to make her seem bubble headed at the end on the oil rig though funny. It would never happen now.

Love them all but Carey Lowell as Pam Bouvier is pretty sensational, License to Kill is one of my all time favorites, I like the tougher James Bond...

Dalton was before his time, he would have been better earlier as a successor to Connery maybe. He was too serious I think compared to Brosnan who was charming.

It's hard to agree on this kind of rankings, but I definitely agree with your first two choices. I was already a fan of Diana Rigg from her role as Mrs. Peel in The Avengers, and found her to be an excellent choice for Tracy. And right! Eva Green makes a very convincing Vesper, much better than in the novel.

My five favorite Bond girls are: Diana Rigg, Eva Green, Barbara Bach, Michelle Yeoh, and Luciana Paluzzi. All of the Bond girls were beautiful and amazing but these beautiful, intelligent, and exciting ladies each had a natural ease about them and the chemistry with their Bond man was off the charts wonderful! As for my off-topic favorite Miss Moneypenny, that would be Caroline Bliss with Timothy Dalton as 007, (ironically, the best James Bond ever for various reasons, in my opinion!)

I know she wasn't featured in this list, but #1 for me will always be Famke Janssen's Xenia Onatopp :)

Diana Rigg what can I say. I was in love with this lady since The Avengers. She was the first woman I had ever seen who was her own woman, confident, could hold her own against a man and had a great sense of humor. Not to mention absolutely gorgeous. I really enjoyed all the women for different reasons. Eva Green was excellent. But I did think Miss Montes should have been further up.

I find it interesting that most lists of best Bond girls include the 1960's "The Avengers" alumni Honor Blackman and Dame Diana Rigg. Honor Blackman preceded Diana Rigg who played the delightful Emma Peel on the show for just over 2 years. Several Avengers actors ended up in Bond films. I loved Eva Green who amazed me- a French woman who could do a perfect cut crystal British accent.

@@paultew7087 I agree I was mainly mentioning that because I am a huge "The Avengers" fan and find it interesting the tie between Bond and the Avengers. I still have a big crush on Emma Peel/Dame Diana Rigg even though she is now dead. She was my personal favorite Bond girl, her and Eva Green- actually a big fan of Eva's first movie "Die Traumer" which I have on Blu-ray. I am not a fan of George Lazenby though love OHMSS only because of Diana Rigg. The Avengers actually even has ties to the Beatles who were fans of the show.,

Diana Rigg as #1 is spot on, personally would change some orders, but I miss one girl that should be there - Xenia Onatopp played by Famke Janssen.

My all-time favourite Bond girl was the sophisticated, gorgeous, and incredibly sexy villain in Thunderball. Luciana Paluzzi as Fiona Volpe! Absolutely stunning, I can't believe you left her out! Also in the same movie, admittedly in a small role, Molly Peters as Patricia Fearing playing the physiotherapist at the health clinic, another genuine beauty! I have to agree that Michelle Yeoh was exceptional with Pierce Brosnan.

Agent Goodnight was 1 of my favorites. I would have done this list as the Main Bond girls of the film. In You Only Live Twice, Kissy had a small role. The main Girl Aki was amazing, and would rank in my top 5: 1-Diana Rigg (Teresa Bond) 2-Barbara Bach (Anya) 3-Akiko Wakabayashi (Aki) 4-Michelle Yeoh (Wai Lin) 5-Britt Eklund (Agent Goodnight)

Hard to disagree with Diana Rigg as #1, but Jill St John should be right up there with her. Those two brought the most interesting and impactful of all the bond girls. Putting St John at the end is crazy talk.

You forgot to mention "Fatima Blush" (Never say never Again, 1983) played by Barbara Carrera, for which she earned a best supporting actress award nomination at the Golden Globes..And what about "May Day",(A view to a Kill,1985).played by The Grace Jones..they were two of the most memorable bond girls ever🤔

Only Bond movies I ever watched were the ones with Sean Connery, and my own personal favorite among those was Daniella Bianchi in From Russia With Love. Kind of bizarre that she was not even mentioned.

Ranking Bond girls is like herding cats! For me, the top Bond girl is always the last one I've seen! I agree with the top 3 though but would love to have seen some others ranked a little higher than they were. I think there were a few missing too.

Lots of beautiful women makes it tough. As an old geezer, I prefer the earlier Bond films, so if I have to choose just one, it's Claudine Auger. Loved her since I saw "Thunderball" first run in 1965 when I was in high school. A thoroughly gorgeous woman.

Jill Masterson played by Shirley Eaton in Goldfinger should have been included in this incomplete list. She is the beautiful knockout blonde who unfortunately died early in this movie when her whole body was painted gold. She is definitely #1 Bond girl on my list.

A well-done compilation. Maybe an omission or two, but you can't argue about #1. Rigg though was a serious actress with a capital "S." The rest of the Bond women were (to be kind) mostly eye candy, so it is a bit unfair - apples and oranges as they say. Eva Green, Famke Janssen and (my personal favorite) Maryam d'Abo were all sensational.

Love the way that this isn't just about looks. But Tiffany Case..... really. This far down the list? Top 5 - IMO. This was the sassiest of the lot. Wise-cracking, independent, self-directed.... this Bond girl was a total riot, so much so that she even gets the final gag of the film.

I always liked Femke Janssen as Xenia Onatopp.

One of the most significant omissions is Tatiana Romanova (FRWL). I do agree that Tracy Di Vincenzo is number 1 in my opinion, but Bond first meets her in a beach when she tries to commit suicide and not at the casino. Tracy's father character Draco was also brilliantly cast... SPOILER: Draco in the novels eventually tries to kill Bond, but does he succeed?

Yes ,,Daniela was gorgeous as Tatiana...and if there's a rank for female villains I would pick the female villain in FRWL along with that other female villain in OHMSS. Both have that Judi Dench-sque look although Judi Dench played the good side in several Bonds. If Judi Dench played a villain in any Bond I would pick her as top rank for convincingness and glamour..just my opinion..

Si vede che questo nome poi , per qualche motivo è stato cambiato in " Draco" . Ma in quel romanzo Drax fa una brutta fine , mentre tentava di scappare con un sommergibile

The Bond/Severine bar scene in Skyfall was one of my all time favorites.

I think some of the bond girls who turn out to be villains are the most memorable. And my personal favorite is Xenia Onatopp from Goldeneye.

A View to a Kill is what made Roger leave the role- he said he knew it was time to give up Bond when his love interest was the same age as his daughter/ granddaughter...

Excellent list but I have to agree with some of the others that I would have liked to have seen Tatiana Romanova as played by Daniella Bianchi and Jill Masterson played by Shirley Eaton in Goldfinger should have been included. Both would be near the top of my personal list.

Nobody could top Caroline Munro as Naomi in The Spy who loved me. I remember my heart stopping when she appeared on screen. I always thought she would should have been the Bond Girl in that movie.

A pity (but understandable) that this was limited to the girls playing the part of Bond's love interest, there have been some absolutely stunning ladies playing the part of the opposition. Maybe next time ?

As long as we agree that Diana Rigg (On Her Majesty's Secret Service) was the best then it doesn't really matter in what order you rank the other Bond girls .. but it was a bit amiss of you to leave out Daniella Bianchi (From Russia With Love) altogether !

Thank you for this video. If you extend the notion of "James Bond girl" to the viollainesses, my favourites are Domino and Xenia Onatop !

My favourite was Barbara Bach and one you didn't mention is my second favourite Barbara Carerra from Never Say Never Again for obvious reasons Wow Two completely different Barbaras 😵😵

Did you guys have a brain cramp or something? Where's Daniela Bianchi in this crazy rating system? Even Bond (Sean Connery) said to her in From Russia With Love:: "You're one of the most beautiful girls I've ever seen." I'll conceed that Diana Rigg get the #1 rating for her acting prowess and screen presence (I also loved her as Emma Peel in The Advengers) but Daniela as Tatyana Romanov and Izabella Scorupco as Natalya Simonova in GoldenEye should definitely come in as numbers 2 & 3.

Tanya Roberts was born on October 15, 1949, so she was 35 when the movie was released (A View to a Kill was released on July 5, 1985). Roger Moore was born on October 14, 1927, so he was 57 at the time of the movie release.

good correction. 22 year difference not as weird as 30 yrs. Also, odd there were multiple reports Miss Roberts was 65 when she died. She passed in 2021 at age 71.

This was very entertaining. I've always loved the Bond movies and made it a point to see every one. I'm glad that you didn't just dismiss some of the ones who have often not been given fair treatment. My favorites are Teresa, Pussy Galore and Domino, but there really are no bad Bond girls. I do have to agree with the comments that leaving out Tatiana Romanova is a serious oversight. We all have our favorite Bond movie. Mine is Thunderball.

Excellent video. My personal favourite? Barbara Bach.

I liked Aki played by Akiko Wakabayashi in You Only Live Twice.

I also think Daniella Bianchi is the mist gorgeous Bond girl, but in fairness to the video creator, her voice was dubbed by British actress Barbara Jefford because the producers thought her accent would be too difficult for audiences to understand. So Bianchi can only be partially credited for her performance as Tatiana Romanova.

Eva Green is my favorite, she was so amazing in that role!

1- Diana Rigg; 2 - Jill St. John; 3 - Barbara Bach; 4 - Denise Richards; 5 - Maude Adams; 6 - Honor Blackman; 7 - Britt Ekland; 8 onward -- good to okay.

I've never thought about it. But if I had to chose in order it would be, Maude Adams, Carol Bouquet, Barbara Bach and Lois Chiles.

Not all Bond girls were on his side. She was an adversary to Bond, but I think Miranda Frost (Rosamund Pike, Die Another Day) deserves inclusion.

I was thinking the same, I thought she was better than Halle Berry in that film. I had not seen Rosamund Pike before then, but I certainly remembered her after seeing that film.
