Why does the lost and the great generation's time-period overlap?

Those time periods are often disputed the most. However, I think the lost generation is more accurately between 1883-1900

I'm 2009 Gen Z but didn't get access to devices like cell phones until only a few years ago. (I grew up poor)

Interesting video, but I think it focuses too much on the positives. We all have faults... and it's probably easier for us to find them with the other generations. I'm Gen X, by the way... born in '67.
