A full moment of silence for all of the astromecs that we have lost in Star Wars for a long time ever since they all died but hey at least we still have R2-D2 who’s still alive and ash Ketchum and his bro pikachu who still live in our hearts.

Fun fact! U9-C4 can be seen, and interacted with in Galaxy’s Edge Batuu! Which takes place between TLJ and TROS. So we know he made it up until then.

P6B-LT2 (or a very similar model) also shows up in the first season of the mandalorian in the market early on in the season

QT-KT and R2-Kt are immortal; the origins are for a fan member who's daughter died, and wanted a droid to watch over her like R2D2 did for Padme in Attack of the Clones. They would never kill either of these droids, since it represents an actual droid made to watch over the child, which one was made for her. They wouldn't dare.

I feel like calling the BB-8 type units "Astromech's" might be a bit inaccurate even if they are canonically considered Astromech's. They just aren't the same thing.

My favorite is R2-SHP is my favorite because he is shiny and his colors are cool. My second favorite is R6-LE5 or leefive, leefive is good for the same reasons as R2-SHP but his head is worse.

264 actually survived and was found by some farmers, who made him a farming droid, but th e empire found him and confiscated him. 264 kept his memories and would later help the ghost crew again, when he recpgnized Zeb, but they had to leave him once again, even though he helped them

Correction: 264 fell off the ghost so he died, r7 d4 was killed with plot Koon , r3 m3 was killed in the death star explotion

Recorrection: -264 is actually alive as he was merely thrown out of his outpost and left to freeze -The droid that was destroyed alongside Plo Koon was R4-F5, not R7-D4 -Althought it's unconfirmed it's very likely that R3-M3 was destroyed alongside the Death Star

There's no real evidence BZ was destroyed, R7 A7 was in the bad batch, and goldie was a problem so who cares about him

BB-9E fell into lava and R2-Q5 died in the death star because Luke destroyed it

Ok this is going to be my final comment: here is every error I found CB-23 isn’t here R2-BHD is in a new hope and dies in the battle of yavin U9-C4 is alive R2-KT is alive R4-P44 died in the battle of coruscant R7-A7 was rebuilt
